3. Setup Guide

Initial Router Setup (LCM4121S as Router, not Mesh):

1. Step 1: Connect Hardware. Connect your computer to the LAN1 port of the router using an Ethernet cable. Ensure the router is powered on and connected to your internet modem via the WAN port.
2. Step 2: Access Web Interface. Open a web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge) on your connected computer and enter "http://192.168.1.1" in the address bar. Press Enter.
3. Step 3: Log In. You will be prompted for login credentials. Enter the username and password found on the device label, typically located on the bottom or back of your router.
4. Step 4: Navigate to Network Settings. Once logged in, navigate to the "Settings" menu, then select "Ethernet," and finally "Ethernet Settings."
5. Step 5: Configure Connection Mode. Select "Dynamic IP" as the connection mode. This is the most common setting for home internet connections.
6. Step 6: Apply Settings. Click "Submit" to save your configuration. Wait for the confirmation message "Configuration Successful." Your router should now be connected to the internet.

Mesh Network Setup:

The X-Link Mesh Router (LCE4121S) can seamlessly mesh-link with other compatible devices like LCE4121S or LCE4121M routers to create a unified WiFi network with a single WiFi name and seamless roaming.

4. Operating Instructions

Router/AP Mode Operation:

In Router/AP mode, the X-Link AX3000 converts your wired internet connection into a wireless network, allowing multiple devices to connect wirelessly. It acts as the central point for your home network.

Mesh Mode Operation:

When operating in Mesh Mode, multiple X-Link routers create a single, unified Wi-Fi network. This eliminates Wi-Fi dead zones and provides seamless roaming as you move throughout your home, ensuring a consistent and strong signal.
