2. Safety Instructions

To ensure safe operation and prevent damage, please observe the following safety precautions:

  • Always ensure the appliance is connected to a grounded power outlet with the correct voltage (110 Volts AC).
  • Do not immerse the entire unit in water. The unit is IPX7 waterproof, meaning the heating and circulation components are protected, but the control panel should not be submerged.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Do not operate if the power cord or plug is damaged. Contact customer support for assistance.
  • Ensure the water level is always between the 'MIN' and 'MAX' marks on the circulator to prevent damage and ensure proper operation. The device features safety protection and temperature alarms that activate if the water level is too low or if the device is removed from the water during operation.
  • Use only in a well-ventilated area.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use caution when handling the unit after cooking.

4. Setup and Initial Use

  1. Prepare Your Container: Select a heat-safe pot or container. Ensure it is deep enough to accommodate the sous vide machine with water levels between the MIN and MAX indicators.
  2. Attach the Sous Vide Machine: Securely clip the sous vide machine to the side of your chosen container.
  3. Fill with Water: Fill the container with water. The water level must be between the 'MIN' and 'MAX' lines indicated on the stainless steel part of the circulator. Do not exceed the 'MAX' line to prevent overflow when food is added.
  4. Connect Power: Plug the sous vide machine into a standard 110V AC power outlet. The display will illuminate.

5. Operating Instructions

Cooking Process:

  1. Prepare Food: Season and place your food (e.g., meat, fish, vegetables) into a vacuum-sealable bag. Ensure the bag is properly sealed to remove air.
  2. Submerge Food: Once the water in the container reaches the desired temperature, carefully submerge the sealed food bag into the water bath. Ensure the bag is fully submerged and not floating.
  3. Set Temperature and Time:
    • Press the 'Temp Set' button (5) to enter temperature setting mode.
    • Use the '+' and '-' buttons (4 and 3) to adjust the desired cooking temperature (range: 20°C to 99°C / 77°F to 194°F).
    • Press the 'Timer Set' button (2) to enter time setting mode.
    • Use the '+' and '-' buttons (4 and 3) to adjust the desired cooking time (up to 100 hours).
    • Press the 'Power Off/On' button (1) to start the cooking process. The machine will maintain the set temperature.
  4. Monitor and Finish: The machine will beep when the set time has elapsed. Carefully remove the food bag from the water bath. For certain foods like steak, a quick sear in a hot pan after sous vide cooking can create a desirable crust.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your sous vide machine.

  • After Each Use: Unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
  • Cleaning the Heating Coil/Pump: If mineral deposits or food particles accumulate on the stainless steel heating coil or pump housing, you can clean it by running the unit in a water bath with a mixture of water and white vinegar (e.g., 1 part vinegar to 4 parts water) for 30 minutes at 60°C (140°F).
  • Storage: Store the sous vide machine in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

7. Troubleshooting
