4. Setup and Accessory Installation

Proper installation of accessories is crucial for safe and effective operation.

4.1 Installing/Changing Accessories:

  1. Ensure Power is Off: Always unplug the tool from the power outlet before changing accessories.
  2. Press Spindle Lock: Locate the spindle lock button on the tool head. Press and hold it to prevent the spindle from rotating.
  3. Loosen Collet Nut: Use the provided spanner wrench to loosen the collet nut.
  4. Insert Accessory: Insert the shank of the desired accessory fully into the collet. Ensure it is seated securely.
  5. Tighten Collet Nut: While still holding the spindle lock, tighten the collet nut firmly with the spanner wrench. Do not overtighten.

4.2 Attaching the Flexible Shaft:

For detailed work and improved maneuverability, attach the flexible shaft.

  1. Unplug the rotary tool.
  2. Remove the collet nut and collet from the rotary tool's spindle.
  3. Screw the flexible shaft's coupling onto the rotary tool's spindle until secure.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off and Speed Control:
