  2. Mark Drilling Points: Use the speaker bracket as a template to mark the drilling points on the wall or mounting surface.
  3. Drill Holes: Drill pilot holes at the marked points. Use appropriate drill bits for your mounting surface (wood, masonry, etc.).

6. Maintenance and Care

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Herdio outdoor speakers, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Wipe the speaker enclosures with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the finish and waterproof coating.
  • Water Exposure: While the speakers are waterproof and weatherproof, avoid prolonged submersion or direct high-pressure water jets. Ensure all connections are secure to maintain water resistance.
  • Storage: If storing the speakers for an extended period, especially in extreme weather conditions, it is recommended to disconnect them from power and store them in a dry, protected area.
  • Cable Inspection: Periodically inspect speaker cables and power cords for any signs of wear, fraying, or damage. Replace damaged cables immediately.
  • Environmental Conditions: The speakers are designed to withstand various weather conditions. However, extreme temperatures (below -4°F / -20°C or above 140°F / 60°C) or prolonged direct sunlight may affect performance and lifespan.
