Important Safety Information

Setup Instructions
The Garvee Utility Service Cart is designed for minimal assembly. No tools are required.
1. Unfolding the Cart
- Remove the cart from its packaging.
- Release the hook and loop straps that secure the cart in its folded position.
- Gently pull the top handle upwards to begin unfolding the cart. The shelves will automatically fall into place.
- Ensure all shelves are fully extended and the support arms are locked into their open position for stability.

2. Attaching the Wheels
- With the cart unfolded and upright, locate the four caster sockets at the bottom of the cart legs.
- Insert each of the four swivel casters into the sockets. Push firmly until they click into place.
- Ensure all wheels are securely attached before placing any items on the cart.

Operating the Cart
1. Folding the Cart for Storage
- Ensure the cart is empty and clean.
- Lift the handle on the first (top) tier of the rolling cart. This action will initiate the folding mechanism.
- Continue to lift the handle, allowing the tiers to collapse inward until the cart is fully folded.
- Secure the folded cart with the integrated hook and loop straps to prevent it from opening during transport or storage.

2. Using the Swivel Wheels and Brakes
- The cart is equipped with four 360° swivel casters for smooth and quiet movement.
- Two of the swivel wheels include locking brakes. To engage a brake, press down on the lever located on the wheel. To release, lift the lever.
- Always engage the brakes when the cart is stationary, especially on sloped surfaces, to prevent accidental rolling.
3. Loading Capacity
- Each tier of the cart can safely hold up to 56 lbs (25.4 kg).
- The total load capacity for the entire cart is 168 lbs (76 kg).
- Distribute weight evenly across the shelves to maintain stability. Place heavier items on lower shelves.
