1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the safe and effective operation of the IXITAB KWS-2301C Multi-Function Digital Display DC Voltage Ammeter Power Meter. This device is designed to measure and display various electrical parameters for Type-C cell phone charging and other DC applications.

2. Safety Information

4. Setup

1. Connect to Power Source: Insert the male Type-C connector of the KWS-2301C into a compatible DC power source (e.g., a wall charger, power bank, or computer USB-C port).
2. Connect Device: Insert the Type-C charging cable of the device you wish to test (e.g., cell phone, tablet) into the female Type-C port on the KWS-2301C.
3. Power On: The device will automatically power on and display readings once connected.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Display Modes

The KWS-2301C features two display orientations for convenient viewing.

5.2 Changing Display Orientation

To change the display orientation, double-click the button located on the side of the device. This will rotate the display content by 180 degrees.

5.3 Interpreting Readings

The OLED display shows multiple parameters simultaneously:

• Voltage (V): Displays the current DC voltage.
• Current (A): Displays the current DC amperage.
• Power (W): Displays the real-time power consumption (Voltage x Current).
• Timing (H): Records the elapsed time of the measurement.
• Capacity (mAh): Accumulates the total charge transferred.
• Electrical Energy (Wh): Accumulates the total energy consumed.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Handling: The metal shell provides durability, but avoid dropping or subjecting the device to severe impacts.

7.1 No Display/No Readings

• Ensure the device is properly connected to both the power source and the load.
• Verify that the power source is active and providing voltage within the specified range (DC 4-30V).
• Check for any damage to the Type-C connectors or cables.

7.2 Inaccurate Readings

• Ensure all connections are secure and free from debris.
• Test with a different power source or load to isolate the issue.
• Readings may vary slightly depending on cable quality and device being charged.
