2. Product Overview

The ARIEL Hepburn 60" Grey Bathroom Vanity is constructed from solid hardwood with plywood panels, ensuring durability and resistance to moisture and temperature changes. It features a 1.5" edge Carrara Quartz countertop and a single rectangular ceramic under-mount sink.

3. Components Included

The following components are included with your ARIEL Hepburn 60" Bathroom Vanity:

• Vanity base cabinet (fully assembled)
• Carrara Quartz countertop
• Ceramic rectangular under-mount sink (UPC certified)
• Hardware (handles for doors and drawers)
• Backsplash

Note: Faucet and mirror are not included.

4. Setup and Installation

The vanity base cabinet arrives fully assembled. Installation of the countertop and sink is required. Professional installation is recommended, but DIY installation is an option for experienced individuals.

4.1 Pre-Installation Checklist

• Verify all components are present and undamaged.
• Ensure the installation area is clean, level, and has appropriate plumbing connections.
• Turn off the main water supply to the installation area.
• Gather necessary tools (e.g., silicone sealant, wrench, screwdriver, level, safety gear).

4.2 Installation Steps

1. Position the Vanity Base: Carefully place the fully assembled vanity base cabinet in its desired location. The open back design facilitates easier plumbing connections.
2. Secure to Wall: Using appropriate wall anchors and screws (not included), secure the vanity cabinet to the wall studs to prevent tipping. Ensure the cabinet is level.
3. Install Sink to Countertop: Apply a bead of silicone sealant around the rim of the under-mount sink. Carefully align and press the sink onto the underside of the countertop. Allow adequate time for the sealant to cure as per manufacturer instructions.
4. Attach Countertop to Vanity: Apply a thin bead of silicone sealant along the top edges of the vanity cabinet. Carefully lower the countertop with the attached sink onto the vanity cabinet, ensuring proper alignment. Press firmly and wipe away any excess sealant immediately.
5. Install Faucet: The countertop is pre-drilled for an 8" widespread 3-hole faucet. Install your chosen faucet according to its manufacturer's instructions.
6. Connect Plumbing: Connect the faucet supply lines to the water supply and the sink drain to the P-trap and waste line. Ensure all connections are tight and leak-free.
7. Install Backsplash: Apply silicone sealant to the back edge of the countertop and carefully place the backsplash against the wall. Secure with additional sealant if necessary.
8. Install Hardware: Attach the provided handles to the doors and drawers.
9. Test: Turn on the water supply and check for any leaks.

5. Operating Instructions

The ARIEL Hepburn vanity is designed for ease of use and durability.

5.1 Soft-Closing Doors and Drawers

The vanity features two soft-closing doors and nine dovetail construction drawers. To close, simply push the door or drawer gently, and the soft-close mechanism will engage, preventing slamming and ensuring quiet operation.

5.2 Full Extension Drawers

Eight of the nine drawers offer full extension, allowing complete access to their contents. One drawer features a 45-degree open tilt for convenient access to smaller items.

6. Maintenance and Care

Proper care will ensure the longevity and appearance of your ARIEL Hepburn vanity.

6.1 Cabinet Care

• Wipe down the cabinet surfaces regularly with a soft, damp cloth.
• Avoid using abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or ammonia-based products, as these can damage the painted finish.
• Promptly wipe up any spills to prevent moisture damage.
• Do not expose the cabinet to excessive humidity or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.

6.2 Countertop Care (Carrara Quartz)

• Clean the quartz countertop with mild soap and water or a non-abrasive household cleaner.
• Wipe dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.
• Avoid strong chemicals, paint removers, oven cleaners, or highly acidic/alkaline solutions.
• While quartz is highly durable, avoid placing extremely hot items directly on the surface without protection.

7. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your vanity.

• Leaking Faucet/Drain: Ensure all plumbing connections are tightened properly. Check for worn washers or seals in the faucet or drain assembly. If leaks persist, consult a professional plumber.
• Drawers Not Closing Smoothly: Check for any obstructions in the drawer slides. Ensure the soft-close mechanism is not damaged. If a drawer is misaligned, gently adjust it on its tracks.
• Cabinet Doors Misaligned: The hinges are adjustable. Refer to the hinge manufacturer's instructions for adjusting the doors to ensure proper alignment and closure.
• Water Stains on Countertop: Wipe up spills immediately. For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for quartz surfaces.
