6. Installation Instructions
Before You Begin: Ensure power is disconnected at the circuit breaker. Wear appropriate safety gear.
- Cut a Hole: Use the provided template to mark the desired location on the ceiling. Cut a 4.25-inch diameter hole.
- Connect Wiring: Open the junction box cover. Connect the house wiring (live, neutral, ground) to the corresponding wires inside the junction box using appropriate wire connectors. Ensure connections are secure.
- Select Color Temperature (CCT): Before mounting, locate the 5CCT selection switch on the side of the junction box. Slide the switch to your desired color temperature (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K).
- Connect Light to Junction Box: Connect the male and female connectors between the recessed light and the junction box. Ensure they click securely into place.
- Mount Junction Box: Place the junction box through the cutout hole into the ceiling.
- Mount Light: Push the spring clips on the recessed light upwards and insert the light into the ceiling hole. Release the clips to secure the light flush against the ceiling.
7. Operating Instructions
- Power On: Restore power at the circuit breaker. The light should illuminate.
- Color Temperature Selection: The desired color temperature must be selected using the switch on the junction box before installation. Once installed, the CCT cannot be changed without removing the fixture.
- Dimming: If connected to a compatible dimmer switch, adjust the dimmer to control the brightness level from 5% to 100%.
8. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Ensure power is off before cleaning. Wipe the light fixture with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- No User-Serviceable Parts: The LED components are integrated and not user-replaceable. Do not attempt to open or repair the fixture.
