3.2 Initial Placement in Aquarium
Ensure your tank is made of glass and has a thickness of less than 1/2 inch (12.7mm). This cleaner is not suitable for acrylic or plastic aquariums.
- Submerge the inner brush part (with the abrasive Velcro) into the aquarium water.
- Place the outer magnetic part (with the digital display) on the exterior of the glass, aligning it with the submerged inner part. The strong magnets will attract and hold the two parts together.
- The cleaner is now ready for use. It can be moved flexibly across the glass without falling off.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Cleaning the Aquarium Glass
Once the cleaner is attached to the glass, simply move the outer part across the exterior of the tank. The inner part will mirror its movements, effectively scrubbing away algae and debris from the inside surface.
- Use the abrasive Velcro pad (inner part) for tackling tough stains, deposits, or grime on the interior glass.
- The soft fluff pad (outer part) helps to wipe away dust and minor traces on the exterior, preventing scratches.
- The ergonomic design allows for a comfortable grip, making it easy to maneuver the brush around corners and edges.

4.2 Using the Digital Thermometer
The digital display on the outer unit shows the current water temperature. The temperature sensor is located on the backside of the inner unit, ensuring accurate readings from within the tank.
- To turn on the display, simply touch the power button icon.
- To switch between Fahrenheit (℉) and Celsius (℃), press and hold the power button icon for 3 seconds.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Cleaner
After each use, it is recommended to rinse both parts of the magnetic cleaner with clean water to remove any accumulated debris or algae. This helps maintain its effectiveness and prolong its lifespan.
5.2 Battery Replacement
Refer to Section 3.1 for detailed instructions on how to replace the CR2032 battery when the display becomes dim or stops working.
5.3 Storage
Store the magnetic cleaner in a dry place when not in use. Ensure the two magnetic parts are kept together to prevent loss and maintain magnetic strength.
6. Troubleshooting
- Cleaner detaches or falls: Ensure your tank is made of glass and its thickness is less than 1/2 inch (12.7mm). The magnetic force may not be sufficient for thicker glass or non-glass materials (acrylic/plastic).
- Ineffective cleaning: For stubborn algae, ensure the abrasive Velcro pad is clean and making full contact with the glass. Repeated passes may be necessary.
- Thermometer display is off or dim: Replace the CR2032 battery as per Section 3.1.
- Incorrect temperature unit: Press and hold the power button icon for 3 seconds to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius.
