  • Electrical Safety: Use only the provided power adapter. Ensure the power source matches the adapter's specifications. Keep electrical components away from water.
  • Speed Control: The cars can reach high speeds. Always control the speed, especially around turns, to prevent cars from flying off the track and causing damage or injury.
  • Small Parts: This set contains small parts which may pose a choking hazard for young children.

3. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your racing track:

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all track pieces, cars, controllers, and accessories from the packaging.
  2. Assemble Track: Connect the track pieces by aligning the interfaces and snapping them securely into place. The track features an enhanced locking system for easy assembly. Refer to the included layout diagrams for various track configurations. Ensure all track interfaces are tight and flat for optimal performance.
  3. Install Supports: Place track supports under elevated sections and loops to ensure stability. Attach guardrails to the outer edges of curves to prevent cars from derailing.
  4. Connect Power: The track offers two power modes:
    • Electric Mode: Connect the provided AC adapter to the main power track piece and plug it into a wall outlet.
    • Battery Mode: Insert 8xAA batteries (not included) into the battery box and connect it to the main power track piece.
  5. Connect Controllers: Plug the two remote controls into the designated ports on the main power track piece.
  6. Prepare Cars: Ensure the conductive brushes on the bottom of each car are angled at approximately 30 degrees to the rear of the vehicle. Place the cars onto the track, ensuring the guide rod is aligned and inserted into the middle groove of the track, and the brush blades contact the track metal strips.

4. Operating Instructions

Once the track is assembled and powered, you are ready to race!

  1. Controller Usage: Each player uses a remote control to operate their car. The main trigger controls the speed.
  2. Speed Control Skills:
    • Deceleration Turn: Press the trigger halfway to slow down for turns and prevent the car from flying off.
    • Straight Acceleration: Press the trigger fully for maximum speed on straight sections.
    • High Speed Key: Some controllers may feature a 'High Speed Key' for quick bursts of speed. Use this strategically.
    • Speed Limit Uniform Speed: Adjust the speed limit pin on the controller to maintain a uniform speed, especially useful for beginners.
  3. Automatic Lap Counting: The main track section includes an automatic lap counting function. Each time a car completes a lap and passes the designated point, the counter will record it, allowing for competitive racing.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your racing track set.

  • Clean Track: Periodically wipe down the track surfaces with a dry, soft cloth to remove dust and debris that can affect car performance.
  • Replace Car Brushes: The set includes extra brushes for the bottom of the cars. If a car's performance degrades, inspect the brushes for wear and replace them as needed.
  • Store Properly: When not in use, disassemble the track and store all components in their original packaging or a suitable container to prevent damage.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Car flies off track: Reduce speed, especially on turns. Ensure guardrails are properly installed. Check that car brushes are correctly angled and making good contact.
  • Car not moving: Check power connection (adapter plugged in or fresh batteries in battery box). Ensure controllers are securely plugged into the main track piece. Verify car brushes are making proper contact with the track's metal strips.
  • Lap counter not working: Ensure the cars are passing over the lap counting mechanism correctly. Check for any obstructions.
  • Intermittent power: Check all track connections to ensure they are tight and flat. Loose connections can disrupt power flow.
