Setup
Follow these steps to set up your Monopoly Wicked Edition game:
- Unfold the Gameboard: Place the gameboard on a flat surface.
- Separate Cards: Separate the Title Deed cards, Totally Ozmopolitan cards, and Defy Gravity cards into their respective piles. Shuffle the Totally Ozmopolitan and Defy Gravity cards and place them face down on their designated spaces on the board.
- Distribute Ozian Coins: Each player starts with a specific amount of Ozian coins. Refer to the Game Guide for the exact starting amount per player count. The remaining coins form the bank.
- Choose a Token: Each player selects one of the 6 golden tokens to represent them on the board.
- Place Tokens on GO: All players place their chosen token on the "GO" space.
- Select a Banker: One player is chosen to be the Banker. The Banker is responsible for the Bank's money, Title Deeds, Munchkin Homes, and Emerald Castles until they are bought by players. The Banker may also play, but must keep their personal assets separate from the Bank's.

Operating (How to Play)
The game proceeds in turns, with players rolling dice and moving their tokens around the board. The goal is to acquire properties and collect rent from other players, ultimately driving them into bankruptcy.
Player Turn Sequence:
- Roll the Dice: The player whose turn it is rolls both dice.
- Move Your Token: Move your token clockwise around the board the number of spaces indicated by the dice roll.
- Action Based on Space: The action you take depends on the space your token lands on:
- Properties (Locations, Transports, Commodities): If you land on an unowned property, you may buy it from the Bank for the price printed on that space. If you choose not to buy it, the Banker immediately offers it for auction to the highest bidder. If you land on a property owned by another player, you must pay them rent as indicated on their Title Deed card.
- Totally Ozmopolitan or Defy Gravity: Draw the top card from the respective pile and follow the instructions on the card. These cards can provide benefits or impose penalties.
- Tax Spaces: Pay the indicated tax to the Bank.
- GO: If you pass or land on "GO", collect 20 Ozian coins from the Bank.
- Just Visiting/Jail: Landing on "Just Visiting" means you are simply visiting. Landing on "Go to Jail" means you immediately move your token to the Jail space and your turn ends.
- Free Parking: No action is taken on this space.
- Build Munchkin Homes and Emerald Castles: Once you own all properties in a color group, you can begin building Munchkin Homes and then Emerald Castles on those properties during your turn. These increase the rent collected from other players. Munchkin Homes and Emerald Castles must be built evenly across the properties in a color group.
- End Turn: Once all actions for the turn are completed, play passes to the player on your left.
Bankruptcy and Winning:
If you owe more money than you can pay, even by selling properties and buildings, you are bankrupt and out of the game. The last player remaining in the game, after all others have gone bankrupt, is the winner!
