5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Battery

5.3 Adjusting Chain Tension

Correct chain tension is crucial for safe and efficient operation.

  1. While holding the tip of the guide bar up, adjust the chain tensioning screw (usually located on the side cover) until the chain fits snugly against the guide bar.
  2. The chain should be tight enough that you cannot pull the drive links out of the guide bar nose, but loose enough to be pulled around the guide bar by hand without binding.
  3. Once tension is set, fully tighten the retaining nut with the wrench.

5.4 Lubrication

Regular lubrication of the chain is essential for smooth operation and to prevent premature wear. Fill the provided oil bottle with appropriate chainsaw bar and chain oil (not included).

6. Operation

Always ensure you have read and understood the safety instructions before operating the chainsaw.

  1. Insert Battery: Ensure the battery is fully charged and securely inserted into the chainsaw's battery port.
  2. Grip: Hold the chainsaw firmly with one hand on the ergonomic handle.
  3. Start: Press the safety lock button with your thumb, then simultaneously press the power trigger to start the chain. Release the safety lock once the chain is running.
  4. Cutting: Allow the chain to reach full speed before making contact with the material. Apply gentle, steady pressure. Do not force the chainsaw through the cut.
  5. Stopping: Release the power trigger to stop the chain.
  6. One-Hand Operation: This mini chainsaw is designed for comfortable one-hand use, making it suitable for light pruning tasks. Always maintain control and stability.
