Setup

Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the dog nail grinder. Connect the provided USB Type-C charging cable to the grinder and a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The charge indicator light will show the battery status, allowing you to recharge timely. A full charge provides approximately 240 minutes of worktime.

Attaching/Removing Protective Cap

The grinder comes with a protective cap over the grinding head. Gently pull the cap off to expose the grinding head. After use, replace the cap to protect the grinding surface and prevent accidental activation.

Operating Instructions

Pet Acclimation

To ensure a positive experience, allow your pet to become familiar with the grinder before use. Let them sniff it, turn it on briefly near them so they get used to the sound, and offer treats to create positive associations.

Power On/Off and Speed Adjustment

Press the power button once to turn on the grinder to Speed 1 (8000 RPM), suitable for puppies, cats, and sensitive nails. Press again for Speed 2 (10000 RPM) for medium dogs and stronger grinding. A third press activates Speed 3 (12000 RPM) for large dogs and quick nail removal. Press a fourth time to turn off the device.

LED Lighting

Grinding Technique

1. Gently hold your pet's paw and extend the nail you wish to grind.
2. Select the appropriate grinding port (small, medium, or large) based on your pet's nail size.
3. Place the nail against the grinding head at a 45-degree angle.
4. Grind in short intervals, no more than 2-5 seconds at a time, to avoid overheating the nail and causing discomfort.
5. Observe the nail carefully, especially for the quick. Stop grinding when a black dot appears in the center of the nail, indicating you are near the quick.
6. Repeat for all nails, ensuring smooth and rounded edges.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Grinder

After each use, gently clean the grinding head surface and the surrounding area with the provided cleaning brush to remove any nail powder or debris. This ensures optimal performance and hygiene.

Replacing Grinding Head

When the diamond bit grinding head shows signs of wear, replace it with the extra grinding head included in your package. To replace, gently twist and pull off the old head, then align and push on the new head until it clicks into place.
