Safety Information
Always prioritize safety when operating power tools. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or property damage.
- Read the Manual: Before operating, fully read and understand all instructions and safety warnings in this manual.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Always wear safety glasses or goggles, hearing protection, gloves, and sturdy footwear. Consider a hard hat and leg protection for extensive use.
- Work Area: Keep the work area clean, well-lit, and free of obstructions. Do not operate in wet or damp conditions. Keep bystanders, especially children and pets, at a safe distance.
- Tool Condition: Inspect the chainsaw before each use. Ensure all parts are secure, the chain is sharp and properly tensioned, and there are no damaged components. Do not use if damaged.
- Battery Safety: Use only the specified battery and charger. Do not expose batteries to extreme temperatures or water. Store batteries in a cool, dry place.
- Proper Grip: Always hold the chainsaw firmly with both hands during operation.
- Kickback Prevention: Be aware of kickback. Avoid cutting with the tip of the guide bar. Maintain a firm grip and proper stance.
- Maintenance: Disconnect the battery before performing any maintenance, cleaning, or chain adjustments.

Setup
1. Battery Charging
- Connect the charger to a standard power outlet.
- Insert the battery into the charger. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status (e.g., red for charging, green for fully charged).
- Allow the battery to fully charge before first use. Charging time may vary.
- Once charged, remove the battery from the charger.
2. Chain and Guide Bar Installation/Adjustment
The Saker Mini Chainsaw features a tool-free chain installation and tensioning system.
- Ensure the battery is removed from the chainsaw before proceeding.
- Locate the cover knob on the side of the chainsaw. Turn it counter-clockwise about one turn to loosen the cover, without fully removing it.
- Carefully place the chain around the guide bar, ensuring the cutting teeth are facing the correct direction (refer to the arrow on the guide bar or chainsaw body).
- Align the chain and guide bar with the sprocket and mounting slots on the chainsaw body.
- Once the guide bar and chain are seated, adjust the chain tension using the chain tension knob. Turn the knob to tighten the chain until it is snug but can still be pulled freely around the guide bar by hand. The chain should not sag from the bottom of the guide bar.
- Once tensioned, lock the cover knob in place by turning it clockwise until secure.

Operating Instructions
1. Pre-Operation Check
- Ensure the battery is fully charged and securely inserted.
- Verify the chain is properly tensioned and sharp.
- Check that all guards and safety features are in place and functional.
- Wear all necessary PPE.
2. Starting and Stopping
- To start: Press the safety lock button (if present) and then squeeze the trigger switch.
- To stop: Release the trigger switch. The chain should stop immediately.
3. Cutting Techniques
- General Cutting: Hold the chainsaw firmly with both hands. Position the guide bar against the material to be cut. Apply steady, even pressure. Let the chainsaw do the work; do not force it.
- Pruning: When pruning branches, cut from the underside first to prevent pinching, then complete the cut from the top.
- Avoid Kickback: Never cut with the tip of the guide bar. Always use the bottom or top portion of the guide bar. Be aware of branches under tension that may spring back.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your Saker Mini Chainsaw. Always remove the battery before performing any maintenance.
1. Cleaning
- After each use, clean sawdust, chips, and debris from the chainsaw body, guide bar, and chain. Use a brush or compressed air.
- Wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.
2. Chain Lubrication
- The chainsaw requires manual chain lubrication. Fill the provided oil bottle with appropriate chain lubricant (not included).
- Apply a small amount of lubricant along the guide bar groove and chain regularly during operation, especially during extended use, to reduce friction and wear.
3. Chain Sharpening and Replacement
- A sharp chain is crucial for efficient and safe cutting. Sharpen the chain regularly using a suitable chain file or have it professionally sharpened.
- Replace the chain when it becomes dull beyond sharpening, damaged, or stretched. Refer to the "Setup" section for chain replacement instructions.

- Do not store batteries in a discharged state.
