7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your microscope, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Microscope does not power on. | Low battery or power connection issue. | Ensure the power adapter is securely connected and plugged into a working outlet. Charge the battery if it is depleted. |
| Image is blurry or out of focus. | Incorrect focus or object distance. | Adjust the focus wheel on the lens. Adjust the height of the microscope unit on the stand to change the object distance. |
| Image is too dark or unevenly lit. | Insufficient or improperly adjusted lighting. | Increase the brightness of the built-in LEDs. Adjust the position and brightness of the flexible side lights to illuminate the object evenly. |
| Cannot connect to PC. | USB connection issue or software not recognizing device. | Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the microscope and the PC. Try a different USB port. Restart the PC and the microscope. Ensure your PC's camera privacy settings allow applications to access the camera. |
| SD card error or unable to save. | SD card full, corrupted, or improperly inserted. | Check if the SD card is full and delete unnecessary files. Reinsert the SD card. If the issue persists, try formatting the SD card (this will erase all data) or use a different SD card. |
