  2. Apply Electrostatic Sticker: Place the electrostatic sticker on the windshield. Smooth out any air bubbles to ensure a flat fit.
  3. Attach Dash Cam: Remove the protective layer from the 3M adhesive on the dash cam mount. Firmly attach the dash cam to the electrostatic sticker on the windshield.
  4. Remove Lens Film: Remove the protective film from the camera lens.

4.2 Power Connection

  2. Route Cable: Use the included installation crowbar to neatly tuck the power cable along the windshield trim and down to the car's power outlet.
  3. Plug into Power Outlet: The detachable car charger is compatible with cars with or without a cigarette lighter. Plug the car charger into your vehicle's power outlet.

4.3 Rear Camera Installation (Optional)

For rear camera installation, connect the extended cable to the rear camera and route it to the front camera. Mount the rear camera on the rear windshield using its adhesive. Ensure the cable is neatly tucked away.

5. Basic Operation

5.1 Automatic Recording

When you start your car, the dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording. A voice prompt will announce "start recording". The red indicator light will flash, indicating that recording is in progress.

When you turn off your car, the dash cam will automatically power off.

5.2 Loop Recording

The dash cam supports seamless loop recording. When the memory card reaches its storage limit, new recordings will automatically overwrite the oldest files. This ensures continuous recording without manual intervention.

5.3 G-Sensor & Emergency Lock

The built-in G-sensor automatically detects sudden shakes or collisions. Upon detection, it locks the current video footage to prevent it from being overwritten by loop recording. A voice prompt will announce "video locked". You can also manually lock a video by pressing the power button during recording.

When an impact is detected while parked, the camera will automatically turn on and record locked video footage until the impact ceases, providing evidence for potential incidents.

9. Troubleshooting

  • Dash cam not turning on: Ensure the power cable is securely connected and the car's power outlet is functioning. Check if the car charger is properly inserted.
  • Video not recording: Check if the MicroSD card is inserted correctly and is not full. Format the MicroSD card regularly to maintain optimal performance.
  • WiFi connection issues: Ensure your phone is within 3 meters of the dash cam. Verify that the correct WiFi password is entered. Restart both the dash cam and your phone.
  • "Video locked" message frequently: Adjust the G-sensor sensitivity settings in the app if it's too sensitive to normal driving vibrations.
  • Poor night vision quality: Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from smudges or dirt.
