Setup
1. Unpacking and Cleaning
Remove all packaging materials. Wash the jug (excluding the lid with the manual indicator) in warm soapy water or in a dishwasher. Rinse thoroughly. Hand wash the lid.
2. Preparing the Filter Cartridge
Before first use, immerse the new filter cartridge completely in cold water for approximately 5 minutes. Gently shake it to remove any air bubbles. This prepares the filter for optimal performance.

3. Inserting the Filter Cartridge
Place the prepared filter cartridge firmly into the funnel inside the jug. Ensure it is seated correctly to prevent unfiltered water from bypassing the filter.

4. Initial Filtration
Fill the jug with cold tap water. Discard the first two filtered fillings. This flushes out any loose filter material and activates the filter. The third filling is ready for consumption.
5. Setting the Manual Filter Change Indicator
The lid features a manual indicator to remind you when to change the filter. Set the indicator to the current date or 4 weeks from the current date to track the filter's lifespan.
Operating Instructions
Filling the Jug
To fill the jug, simply hold it under the tap. The automatic refill flap on the lid will open as water flows in, allowing for easy and mess-free filling without removing the lid.

Filtration Process
Water flows through the filter cartridge, where activated carbon and ion exchange resin work to reduce limescale, chlorine, and heavy metals like lead and copper. The filtered water collects in the main jug reservoir.

Daily Use
Use the filtered water for drinking, preparing hot and cold beverages, and cooking. Filtered water helps protect household appliances from limescale buildup.
