Operating Instructions
Cooking Rice
- Use the provided measuring cup to measure the desired amount of uncooked rice. The cooker can hold up to 2 cups of uncooked rice.
- Rinse the rice thoroughly in the inner pot until the water runs clear.
- Add water to the inner pot. A common ratio is 1.5 cups of water for every 1 cup of rice, but adjust according to rice type and desired consistency. The inner pot has measurement markings for guidance.
- Place the inner pot into the main rice cooker unit.
- Securely place the glass lid on the rice cooker.
- Turn the rotary switch to the 'COOK' position. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Once cooking is complete (approximately 20-25 minutes for white rice), the cooker will automatically switch to the 'WARM' function.
- Allow the rice to rest for 5-10 minutes in 'WARM' mode before serving for best results.
- Use the provided rice spoon to fluff and serve the rice.
Using the Delay Start Function
The rice cooker features a delay start function, allowing you to prepare ingredients in advance and set a timer for cooking to begin later (up to 24 hours). This ensures fresh, warm food is ready when you need it.
- Add your ingredients (e.g., rice and water) to the inner pot as usual.
- Close the lid and ensure the power is connected.
- Consult the full instruction manual for specific steps on setting the delay timer, as this model features a simple rotary switch without a digital display for timer settings. The delay function is typically activated by a separate button or a specific position on the rotary switch.
Other Cooking Functions
Beyond rice, this versatile cooker can be used for:
- Oatmeal & Porridge: Prepare your breakfast grains with ease.
- Vegetables: Steam or cook vegetables.
- Hot Pots & Soup: Its independent inner pot design makes it suitable for small hot pots or preparing soups.

Troubleshooting

- Appliance not turning on: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both the cooker and a working electrical outlet. Check if the outlet is functional.
