1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, configuration, and operation of your Wiflyer AX1800 Z6001AX-T-EM06 4G LTE WiFi 6 Router. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure proper functionality and optimal performance. This router is designed to provide high-speed internet access via 4G LTE networks or traditional wired WAN connections, distributing it through dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Gigabit Ethernet ports.

3.1. Hardware Interface

• MESH Button: Used for establishing a mesh network with other compatible Wiflyer devices.
• LAN Ports (LAN1, LAN2, LAN3): Gigabit Ethernet ports for connecting wired devices such as computers, gaming consoles, or smart TVs.
• WAN Port: Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting to a traditional wired internet source (e.g., cable modem, fiber modem). This port can also function as a LAN port when 4G LTE is the primary internet source.
• RST (Reset) Button: Press and hold for approximately 5-10 seconds to restore the router to factory default settings.
• SIM Card Slot: Insert a standard-sized 4G LTE SIM card for cellular internet connectivity.
• DC Power Input: Connect the provided power adapter here.
• Antenna Connectors: Six connectors for attaching the external high-gain antennas.

4. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your Wiflyer 4G LTE WiFi 6 Router.

4.1. Hardware Installation

1. Attach Antennas: Carefully screw all six external antennas onto their respective connectors on the rear panel of the router. Ensure they are finger-tight.
2. Insert SIM Card:

   Locate the SIM card slot on the rear panel. Insert a standard-sized 4G LTE SIM card with the chipset facing down and the notched corner oriented as shown in the diagram. Push the SIM card gently until it clicks into place. To remove, push the SIM card again until it springs out slightly, then pull it out.
3. Connect Power: Connect the provided power adapter to the DC power input port on the router, then plug the adapter into a power outlet. The router will power on automatically.
4. (Optional) Connect Wired Devices: If you have wired devices, connect them to the LAN ports (LAN1, LAN2, or LAN3) using Ethernet cables.
5. (Optional) Connect Wired WAN: If you intend to use a wired internet connection instead of 4G LTE, connect your modem's Ethernet cable to the WAN port on the router.

4.2. Initial Connection

After powering on, wait for approximately 1-2 minutes for the router to boot up and establish network connections.

• Via Wi-Fi: On your computer or mobile device, search for available Wi-Fi networks. The default Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password are usually printed on a label on the bottom of the router. Select the network and enter the password to connect.
• Via Ethernet: If you connected your computer directly to a LAN port, it should automatically obtain an IP address and establish a connection.

4.3. Accessing the Web Management Interface

To configure the router, access its web-based management interface:

1. Open a web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge) on a device connected to the router.
2. In the address bar, type the default IP address of the router (commonly 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1). Refer to the label on the bottom of your router for the exact IP address.
3. Press Enter. A login page will appear.
4. Enter the default username and password (usually admin for both, or as specified on the router label).
5. Upon successful login, you will be directed to the router's configuration dashboard. It is highly recommended to change the default login password for security reasons.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Basic Wi-Fi Configuration

From the web management interface, navigate to the Wi-Fi settings to customize your wireless network.

• Change SSID: Modify the network name (SSID) for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands to something unique.
• Set Password: Change the default Wi-Fi password to a strong, secure passphrase.
• Security Type: Ensure WPA2-PSK or WPA3-PSK is selected for optimal security.

5.2. WAN Connection Management

The router supports both 4G LTE and wired Ethernet WAN connections.

• 4G LTE Mode: When a valid SIM card is inserted, the router will automatically attempt to connect to the 4G LTE network. This is ideal for locations without wired broadband.
• Wired WAN Mode: If an Ethernet cable is connected to the WAN port from an existing modem, the router can use this as its primary internet source.
• WAN Failover: The router can be configured to use 4G LTE as a backup internet source if the wired WAN connection fails, ensuring continuous internet access.

5.3. Mesh Network Setup

The Wiflyer Z6001AX-T-EM06 supports mesh networking for extended Wi-Fi coverage.

1. Place additional compatible Wiflyer mesh routers within range of your primary router.
2. Power on the additional mesh routers.
3. Press the MESH button on your primary Z6001AX-T-EM06 router, then press the MESH button on the additional router(s) within two minutes.
4. The devices will automatically connect and form a seamless mesh network, extending your Wi-Fi coverage.

6. Advanced Features

6.1. Wi-Fi 6 Technology (AX1800)

The router utilizes Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) technology for improved performance, especially in environments with many connected devices.

• OFDMA: Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access allows multiple devices to share a single channel, improving efficiency and reducing latency.
• MU-MIMO: Multi-User Multiple-Input, Multiple-Output enables the router to communicate with multiple devices simultaneously, enhancing overall network capacity.
