Setup

1. Battery Installation

Carefully turn the clock over to access the back panel.
Locate the battery compartments.
Insert the 4 included AA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
Close the battery compartment covers securely.

2. Setting the Time

After installing batteries, the clock hands will automatically move to 12:00.
Locate the time setting knob on the back of the clock.
Turn the knob clockwise to set the correct time. Ensure you pass 12 o'clock twice if setting for PM hours, as the melodies will play accordingly.

3. Pendulum Setup

Gently remove any protective packaging or tape securing the pendulum during transit.
Ensure the pendulum is freely suspended and can swing without obstruction.
The pendulum will begin to swing once the clock is powered and functioning.

4. Wall Mounting

Choose a suitable location on a wall that can support the clock's weight.
Use a sturdy screw or hook (not included) securely fastened into a wall stud or appropriate anchor.
Hang the clock using the keyhole slot located on the back panel.
Ensure the clock is level and securely mounted before releasing it.

Operating Instructions

Melody Selection

The clock features 18 melodies. Locate the 'Melody Selection' switch on the back of the clock. This switch allows you to choose between different melody groups or turn them off.

Group C (Christmas Melodies): Deck The Halls, O Tannenbaum, We Wish You A Merry Christmas, Joy To The World, Silent Night, Jingle Bells

Select the desired melody group using the switch. The clock will play a melody from the selected group every hour on the hour.

Volume Control

Adjust the volume of the melodies using the 'Volume' knob or switch located on the back of the clock. Turn it to increase or decrease the sound level to your preference.

Light Sensor (Night Mode)

The clock is equipped with a light sensor. This feature automatically disengages all melodies and pendulum motion when the room becomes dark. This ensures quiet operation during nighttime hours. Melodies and motion will resume automatically when sufficient light is detected.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Wipe the clock's surface with a soft, dry cloth.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the finish.
For glass surfaces, use a glass cleaner applied to a cloth, not directly to the clock.

Battery Replacement

When the clock's performance diminishes (e.g., melodies become faint, pendulum stops, or timekeeping becomes inaccurate), it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the 'Setup' section, replacing all 4 AA batteries with new ones.
