Introduction

The Nerf Pro Sender is a high-performance, semi-automatic dart blaster designed for competitive play. It utilizes half-length darts for enhanced accuracy, distance, and velocity, reaching speeds up to 150 feet per second. This manual provides essential information for safe setup, operation, and maintenance of your blaster.

Safety Information

WARNING: Small parts may be generated. Not for children under 3 years.

This product is recommended for ages 14 and up. Always use the included eyewear to protect your eyes. Do not aim at eyes or face. Use only official Nerf Pro darts. Do not modify darts or blaster. Impact from darts may cause temporary marks on skin. Read instructions before use for important safety information.

Setup

1. Battery Installation

The Nerf Pro Sender blaster requires 8x 1.5V AA alkaline batteries (not included).

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the blaster, near the magazine well.
  2. Unscrew the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert 8 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.

2. Magazine Loading

The blaster comes with a 15-dart capacity magazine.

  1. Insert Nerf Pro half-length darts into the magazine, ensuring they are properly seated.
  2. Align the loaded magazine with the magazine well on the blaster.
  3. Push the magazine firmly into the well until it clicks into place.

3. Eyewear

Always wear the included protective eyewear when operating the blaster.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On and Revving

To activate the blaster's motor, press and hold the rev trigger located below the main trigger. You will hear the motor spin up.

2. Firing Darts

While holding the rev trigger, pull the main firing trigger to launch a dart. The blaster features semi-automatic firing, meaning one dart is fired per trigger pull while the rev trigger is held.

3. Trigger Lock

The blaster is equipped with a trigger lock for safety. Engage the trigger lock when the blaster is not in use to prevent accidental firing.

4. Magazine Removal

To remove the magazine, press the magazine release button, typically located near the magazine well, and pull the magazine downwards.

Maintenance

Dart Care

  • Store darts properly to prevent bending or damage, which can affect performance and cause jams.
  • Do not use damaged or modified darts.

Blaster Cleaning

  • Wipe the blaster with a dry or slightly damp cloth to remove dust and debris.

  • Remove batteries from the blaster when not in use for extended periods to prevent leakage.

Troubleshooting

Blaster Not Firing

  • Check if batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
  • Ensure the rev trigger is fully pressed before pulling the firing trigger.
  • Verify the magazine is fully inserted and locked into place.
  • Check if the trigger lock is disengaged.

Darts Not Firing Properly / Jams

  • Ensure only official Nerf Pro half-length darts are used.
  • Check darts for damage (bends, tears) and replace any compromised darts.
  • Ensure darts are loaded correctly into the magazine without being squished.
  • Inspect the dart path for any obstructions.
