BOMGE U204 USB Audio Interface User Manual
Model: U204
Introduction
This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your BOMGE U204 USB Audio Interface. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure proper functionality and safety.
Safety Precautions
- Carefully read the safety precautions for the USB power adapter and Type-C data cable you use.
- USB power adapter and Type-C data cable Standard: Output voltage: 4.8V to 5.2V. Output current: 2A.
- The POWER SOURCE Switching: Switch different connection modes. When a data connection is required, switch to USB 2.0, so that the mixing console signal can be transmitted between PC, MAC, IOS, and some Android devices.
- Use 48V phantom power: When using a condenser microphone, you must use XLR TO XLR to connect to the audio interface to enable 48V. The JACK input does not support 48V.
- Monitor connection: Try to use 6.35mm (JACK) headphones for monitoring. If you use 6.35mm to 3.5mm headphones for monitoring, it will easily produce bad noise.

|---|---|---|
| No sound output. | Incorrect cable connection, low volume, incorrect software settings. | Check all cable connections. Increase OUTPUT and PHONES volume. Verify audio input/output settings in your DAW or operating system. |
| Distorted audio. | Input gain too high (clipping), incorrect sample rate. | Reduce GAIN knobs until CLIP LED no longer illuminates. Ensure sample rate matches your software settings. |
| Device not recognized by computer. | USB cable issue, power issue, operating system conflict. | Try a different USB port or cable. Ensure sufficient power (USB 3.0 or 5V/2A adapter). Restart computer. |
| 48V phantom power not working. | Incorrect cable type, switch off. | Ensure you are using an XLR to XLR cable for condenser microphones. Verify the +48V switch is ON. JACK inputs do not support 48V. |
