Setup
Follow these steps for easy DIY installation and setup of your alarm system:
- Power On Base Station: Connect the Monitoring Hub (Base Station) to power using the provided power adaptor and USB C cable.
- Download Smart Life App: Download the "Smart Life" app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Open the Smart Life app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect your Base Station to your home's 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Note: This system does NOT support 5GHz Wi-Fi networks.
- Pair Sensors:
- Door/Window Sensors: Place the two parts of each contact sensor on a door or window frame, ensuring they are aligned and close to each other when the door/window is closed. Use the provided double-sided mounting tape or screws.
- Motion Sensor: Mount the motion sensor in a corner or on a wall using the bracket and screws, ensuring it covers the desired area.
- Follow the app's instructions to pair each sensor with the Base Station.
- Install Keypad: Mount the keypad near an entry point using the provided hardware.
- Test System: After all components are installed and paired, test the system by triggering sensors to ensure alerts are received and the siren activates.

Operating the System
Arming and Disarming
Your GRSICO alarm system can be armed and disarmed using the keypad, remote controls, or the Smart Life mobile application.
- Keypad: Enter your security code and press the appropriate arm/disarm button.
- Remote Control: Press the arm (lock icon) or disarm (unlock icon) button on the remote fob.
- Smart Life App: Open the app, navigate to your alarm system, and select the desired mode (Arm, Disarm, Home Mode, Away Mode).

Modes of Operation
- Away Mode: All sensors are active. Ideal when no one is home.
- Home Mode: Typically activates perimeter sensors (door/window) while allowing movement inside.
- Disarmed Mode: All sensors are inactive, allowing free movement.
- SOS Function: Press the SOS button on the keypad or remote for immediate siren activation and app alerts in emergencies.

- Battery Replacement: Sensors are battery-powered. When a sensor's battery is low, you will receive a notification via the Smart Life app. Replace batteries promptly with the specified type (Alkaline).
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surfaces of the Base Station, Keypad, and sensors. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Firmware Updates: Periodically check the Smart Life app for available firmware updates for your Base Station to ensure optimal performance and security features.
