CCLIFE Solar Shower User Manual
Model: DGTDS008A0000swz
Introduction
Thank you for choosing the CCLIFE Solar Shower. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, installation, and maintenance of your new solar shower. Please read this manual thoroughly before assembly and use, and keep it for future reference.
The CCLIFE Solar Shower is designed to provide warm water for outdoor use, utilizing solar energy to heat the water stored within its column. It is an environmentally friendly and energy-saving solution perfect for gardens, pools, beaches, and other outdoor settings.
Safety Information
Always observe the following safety precautions to prevent injury or damage to the product:
- Ensure the shower is installed on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping.
- Do not exceed the maximum water temperature of 60°C (140°F). Always test water temperature before use to avoid scalding.
- Do not connect the shower to a pressurized water source exceeding 3.5 bar (50 PSI).
- Drain the shower completely before freezing temperatures to prevent damage.
- Keep children and pets away from the shower during operation, especially when water is hot.
- Do not modify the product in any way. Use only original replacement parts.
- Regularly inspect all connections for leaks and ensure they are secure.
Components List
Please check that all components are present before beginning assembly:
- Solar Shower Column (40L capacity)
- Adjustable Shower Head (15cm diameter)
- Mixing Faucet (Hot/Cold)
- Foot Rinse Faucet (if applicable to model)
- Plastic Base (for stability)
- Protective Cover
- Mounting Hardware (screws, anchors)
- Hose Connection Adapter (1/2" coupling)

Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper assembly and installation:
- Choose Location: Select a sunny, level, and stable location for your solar shower. Direct sunlight is crucial for efficient water heating. Ensure the ground can support the weight of the shower when full (approx. 40 kg for 40L model).
- Assemble Base: If your model includes a plastic base, assemble the interlocking sections. The base provides stability and a comfortable standing surface.

Figure 3: Illustration emphasizing that the plastic base does not require drilling for installation, ensuring easy setup. - Mount Shower Column: Secure the shower column to the ground using the provided mounting hardware. For concrete or paved surfaces, use appropriate anchors. Ensure the column is vertical and stable.

Install the mixing faucet and any additional foot rinse faucet (if applicable) according to the diagrams. Ensure all connections are hand-tightened and then secured with a wrench if necessary, but do not overtighten.
- Connect Water Supply: Connect a standard garden hose (1/2" coupling) to the water inlet at the base of the shower column. Ensure the connection is secure to prevent leaks.

Figure 5: Detailed view of the 1/2" hose coupling connection point at the base of the solar shower, illustrating how to attach a standard garden hose. - Fill with Water: Slowly turn on the water supply to fill the shower column. Once water flows from the shower head, turn off the water supply. Check for any leaks.
Operating Instructions
Using your CCLIFE Solar Shower is simple:
- Heating Water: For optimal heating, allow the shower to sit in direct sunlight for 2-4 hours before use. The black column absorbs solar energy, heating the water inside. Water temperature can reach up to 60°C (140°F) depending on sunlight intensity and duration.

Figure 6: This diagram shows the solar shower's climate-neutral operation, with cold water entering from the bottom and warm water exiting from the top after being heated by the sun.
Figure 7: This image illustrates the solar shower's capacity to heat water up to 60°C, emphasizing its environmentally friendly design with no electricity needed and rapid heating capabilities. - Adjusting Water Temperature: Use the mixing faucet to blend hot water from the column with cold water from your garden hose to achieve your desired temperature. Turn the handle towards 'Hot' for warmer water and 'Cold' for cooler water.

Figure 8: A user enjoying the CCLIFE Solar Shower outdoors, demonstrating its practical application for refreshing showers. - Using the Shower Head: The shower head can be adjusted to direct the water flow.
- Using the Foot Rinse (if applicable): If your model includes a foot rinse faucet, open it to access cold water for rinsing feet or other items.
- After Use: Turn off the water supply from your garden hose. It is recommended to drain any remaining water from the shower column if it will not be used for an extended period or if freezing temperatures are expected.
Maintenance
Proper maintenance will extend the life of your solar shower:
- Cleaning: Clean the exterior of the shower regularly with a soft cloth and mild soap. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Winterization: Before the first frost, completely drain all water from the shower column and hoses. Disconnect the garden hose. Store the shower in a dry, protected area, or use the provided protective cover if leaving it outdoors.

Figure 9: The CCLIFE Solar Shower shown with its custom-fit protective cover, ideal for winterization or extended storage. - Leak Checks: Periodically check all connections for leaks. Tighten any loose fittings.
- Scale Buildup: In areas with hard water, mineral deposits may accumulate. Flush the system periodically with clean water. For stubborn buildup, consult a plumbing professional.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No hot water or insufficient heat. | Not enough direct sunlight; insufficient heating time; cloudy weather. | Relocate shower to a sunnier spot; allow more heating time (2-4 hours); use on sunny days. |
| Water leaks from connections. | Loose connections; damaged O-rings/gaskets. | Tighten all connections; inspect and replace O-rings/gaskets if damaged. |
| Low water pressure. | Insufficient water supply pressure; kinked hose; clogged shower head. | Ensure adequate water supply pressure; straighten hose; clean shower head nozzles. |
| Shower unstable/wobbly. | Improper installation; uneven ground. | Re-secure mounting hardware; ensure installation on a level surface. |
