Setup

1. Charging the Device

1. Locate the USB charging port on the side of the LED name badge (refer to Figure 4).
2. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the badge and plug the other end into a standard USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
3. The LED indicator on the badge will show charging status (e.g., red for charging, green for fully charged).
4. Allow approximately 2-3 hours for a full charge. A full charge provides 12-24 hours of usage.

2. App Installation and Connection

1. Download the App: Search for the "Magic Display" app in your smartphone's app store (Google Play Store for Android or Apple App Store for iOS).
2. Install the App: Follow the on-screen instructions to install the application.
3. Enable Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
4. Power On the Badge: Press and hold the power button on the side of the LED badge until the display illuminates.
5. Connect to the App: Open the "Magic Display" app. The app should automatically detect nearby LED badges. Select your device from the list to establish a connection.
6. Grant Permissions: The app may request certain permissions (e.g., Bluetooth, location). Grant necessary permissions for the app to function correctly.

Operating Instructions

1. Programming Messages

1. Once connected to the "Magic Display" app, navigate to the text or graphic editing section.
2. Enter Text: Type your desired message. The app supports various languages and special characters.
3. Select Effects: Choose from various display effects such as scrolling direction (left, right, up, down), static display, flashing, and animation.
4. Adjust Speed: Set the scrolling speed to your preference.
5. Add Graphics/Frames: Some app versions allow adding simple graphics or decorative frames.
6. Send to Device: After customizing your message, tap the "Send" or "Save" button within the app to transfer the content to the LED badge. The badge will immediately display the new message.

2. Adjusting Brightness

The LED name badge offers 3 levels of brightness. This can typically be adjusted within the "Magic Display" app settings. Refer to the app's interface for specific brightness control options.

3. Wearing the Badge

The badge offers two convenient wearing methods:

• Pin Attachment: The badge has an integrated pin on its back. Simply unclip the pin and attach it directly to your clothing, bag, or other fabric surfaces.
• Magnetic Attachment: For delicate fabrics or a more secure hold, use the provided magnetic piece. Place the magnetic piece inside your clothing and position the badge on the outside, allowing the magnets to attract and hold the badge in place.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

• Gently wipe the LED display and badge surface with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the display or casing.

2. Battery Care

• To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
• If storing the device for an extended period, charge it to approximately 50% and recharge every few months.
• Do not expose the battery to high temperatures.
