3.1 Assembly

The lawn mower requires minimal assembly. Follow these steps:

  1. Unpack all components from the carton.
  2. Attach the handlebar to the main unit using the provided bolts and knobs. Ensure the handle is securely locked in the operating position.
  3. Assemble the grass collection bag if it came disassembled.
  4. Mount the grass collection bag onto the rear of the mower.

4.1 Starting the Engine

Follow these steps to start your lawn mower:

  1. Ensure the lawn mower is on a flat, level surface.
  2. Press the primer bulb (if equipped) 3-5 times until fuel is visible.
  3. Hold the engine stop lever (1 in Figure 2.2) firmly against the handlebar. The engine will not start unless this lever is held.
  4. Pull the recoil starter cord with a swift, continuous motion until the engine starts. Do not let the cord snap back.
  5. Once the engine starts, release the recoil starter cord slowly.
  6. To engage the rear-wheel drive, hold the drive lever (2 in Figure 2.2) against the handlebar. Release it to disengage.

4.2 Mowing

For best results, mow when the grass is dry. Overlap cutting swaths slightly to ensure even coverage.

4.3 Cutting Height Adjustment

The Lehmann LGALM-2646 features a 7-stage central cutting height adjustment, ranging from 25 mm to 70 mm.

  1. Turn off the engine and wait for the blade to stop completely.
  2. Locate the cutting height adjustment lever, typically near one of the rear wheels.
  3. Pull the lever outwards and move it to the desired height setting. The settings are usually numbered or indicated by notches.
  4. Ensure all wheels are set to the same height for an even cut.

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your lawn mower. Always disconnect the spark plug cap before performing any maintenance.
