3. Assembly Instructions
Assembly requires two adults. Approximate assembly time: 60-90 minutes. Tools required: Included Allen wrench, Phillips head screwdriver (not included).
3.1. Before You Begin
- Clear a spacious area for assembly.
- Unpack all components and lay them out on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
- Identify all parts and hardware using the provided diagrams.
3.2. Step-by-Step Assembly
- Assemble the Headboard: Attach the upper shelves to the main headboard panel using the designated hardware. Ensure all connections are firm.
- Attach Bedside Cabinets: Secure the bedside cabinets to the sides of the headboard structure.
- Construct the Bed Frame: Connect the side rails and end panels to form the main bed frame. Do not fully tighten all bolts until the frame is aligned.
- Integrate Headboard and Frame: Attach the assembled headboard and bedside cabinets to the bed frame. Tighten all frame bolts securely.
- Install Slats: Place the wooden slats across the bed frame. Ensure they are evenly spaced and secured according to the instructions. The slat kit provides mattress support, eliminating the need for a box spring.
- Assemble Drawers: Assemble the four storage drawers. Attach the drawer slides to the drawer boxes and the corresponding locations on the bed frame. Install drawer handles.
- Insert Drawers: Carefully slide the assembled drawers into their designated compartments under the bed frame.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Using the Daybed
- Place a full-size mattress (recommended thickness: 6 inches) directly onto the installed slats. No box spring is required.
- The daybed is designed for sleeping, lounging, and seating.
4.2. Utilizing Storage Features
- Drawers: Pull the handles to open the four under-bed storage drawers. These are suitable for storing bedding, clothing, or other personal items.
- Bedside Cabinets: Open the doors on the bedside cabinets for additional enclosed storage.
- Upper Shelves: Use the open shelves on the headboard for displaying decorative items, storing books, or keeping frequently used items within reach.
