5. Setup
5.1 Charging the Device

5.2 Power On/Off
- Power On: Hold the Power button for approximately 2 seconds. The LED will illuminate.
- Power Off: Hold the Power button for approximately 3 seconds until the LED turns off.
5.3 Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the device is powered off.
- Hold the Power button for approximately 3 seconds until the LED flashes rapidly, indicating pairing mode.
- On your smartphone or other Bluetooth device, search for "HiBy W3 II" in the Bluetooth settings.
- Select the device to connect. The LED will change to a steady blue light upon successful connection.
5.4 NFC Pairing (One-Touch)
For devices with NFC capability:
- Ensure NFC is enabled on your smartphone.
- Touch your smartphone to the NFC icon/area on the HiBy W3 II.
- Confirm the pairing request on your smartphone. The devices will connect automatically.

6. Operating Modes
6.1 Bluetooth Receiver Mode
After successful Bluetooth pairing, connect your wired headphones to the 3.5mm headphone jack of the HiBy W3 II. Audio from your paired device will now be transmitted wirelessly to your headphones through the W3 II.

6.2 USB DAC Dongle Mode
Connect the HiBy W3 II to a computer, smartphone, or other compatible device using the USB-C cable. The device will function as an external sound card, bypassing the internal DAC of your source device for improved audio quality.

6.3 Car Mode
When Car Mode is enabled via the HiByBlue app, the W3 II will automatically power on when your car starts and connect to your previously paired smartphone, providing seamless audio integration with your car's system.

6.4 Phone Calls
- Take/End Calls: Tap the Power button.
- Reject Call: Hold the Power button for 1 second.
6.5 Music Control
- Play/Pause: Tap the Power button.
- Volume Up: Short press the Volume + button.
- Volume Down: Short press the Volume - button.
- Next Song: Long press the Volume + button.
- Previous Song: Long press the Volume - button.
6.6 Clear Pairing
To clear all paired Bluetooth devices, press the Volume + and Volume - buttons simultaneously while the device is powered on.
