4. Installation Instructions
4.1 Pre-Installation Checks and Customization
Before installation, carefully measure your opening to ensure the door fits. The door is designed to fit an opening size of 72x96 inches. There will be approximately a 3/8" to 3/4" gap between the bottom of the door and the floor after installation.
If your opening requires a narrower door, individual door leaves can be removed. Refer to the diagram below for door leaf widths and folded widths based on the overall door width. The video below demonstrates how to remove a glass door leaf.

Figure 4: Product size diagram illustrating door width, folded width, and door leaf width for various door sizes. This helps in determining how many panels to remove for custom fits.

4.2 General Assembly Steps
- Unpack all components and verify against the parts list.
- If customizing the door width, follow the instructions in Section 4.1 to remove any unnecessary door leaves. Ensure the connector strips are correctly oriented (alternating up-down-up-down) to allow proper folding.
- Install the top track securely within your door frame opening.
- Attach the door panels to the top track using the zinc alloy rolling wheels.
- Install the handles and latch mechanism onto the door panels.
- Ensure all screws are tightened and the door operates smoothly along the track.
5. Operation
To open the accordion door, gently push the panels along the top track. The zinc alloy rolling wheels are designed for smooth gliding. To close, pull the panels together until the latch engages. The double door design allows for opening from the middle.
6. Maintenance
- Regularly clean the PVC door panels and frosted acrylic with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Keep the top track free of dust and debris to ensure smooth operation of the rolling wheels.
- Periodically check all screws and hardware for tightness and re-tighten if necessary.
- The white paste inside the track is a lubricant. If the door does not move smoothly, push and pull the door back and forth several times to ensure the entire wheel is coated with the lubricating paste.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Door Does Not Slide Smoothly
- Check Lubrication: The track contains a white lubricating paste. If the door feels stiff, push and pull it back and forth several times to distribute the lubricant evenly over the wheels.
- Clear Obstructions: Inspect the track for any dust, dirt, or small objects that might be impeding the wheels. Clean the track thoroughly.
- Verify Installation: Ensure the top track is installed level and securely. Uneven installation can cause friction.
7.2 Door Panels Do Not Fold Correctly
- Check Connector Strip Orientation: As shown in Video 1, the folding mechanism requires connector strips to alternate in direction (up-down-up-down). If you removed or reassembled panels, ensure the connector strips are correctly positioned. Incorrect orientation will prevent proper folding.
7.3 General Warnings

- Outdoor Use: PVC doors may deform when exposed to outdoor sunlight. This product is designed for interior use only.
