Product Overview
Network Video Recorder (NVR)
The NVR is the central recording and management unit for your security system. It features 8 Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports for direct camera connection, eliminating the need for separate power adapters for each camera. It supports up to 4K video input and includes a pre-installed 2TB hard drive for continuous recording.
5MP PoE IP Cameras
The system includes four 5-megapixel (2880x1616P) outdoor IP cameras. These cameras are designed for clear video capture day and night, with a 90-degree viewing angle and IP66 weatherproof rating for outdoor use. They receive both power and data through a single Ethernet cable from the NVR.

Setup
1. Physical Installation
- NVR Placement: Place the NVR in a secure, dry, and well-ventilated location, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure it is connected to a power outlet using the provided power adapter.
- Camera Mounting:
- Choose mounting locations that provide optimal viewing angles and coverage, considering the 90-degree field of view.
- Use the included mounting screws to securely attach the cameras to a wall or ceiling. The 3-axis mounting bracket allows for flexible positioning.
- Ensure cameras are positioned to avoid direct backlight and reflective surfaces.

- Wiring Cameras to NVR:
- Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the camera's Ethernet port.
- Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to one of the PoE ports on the NVR. The NVR will automatically provide power and video signal to the camera.
- For longer distances or if connecting to a non-PoE NVR/switch, a separate PoE switch may be used.
- NVR Connections:
- Connect the NVR to a monitor using an HDMI or VGA cable (HDMI cable not included).
- Connect the included USB mouse to a USB port on the NVR for local control.
- Connect the NVR's LAN port to your router using an Ethernet cable for network access and remote viewing.
2. Initial Configuration
Upon first power-up, the NVR will guide you through a setup wizard:
- Language Selection: Choose your preferred language.
- Password Setup: Create a strong password for the NVR administrator account. This is crucial for security.
- Network Settings: Configure network settings (DHCP is usually sufficient for most home networks). Ensure the NVR has internet access for remote viewing features.
- Hard Drive Initialization: The 2TB hard drive may need to be initialized or formatted. Follow the on-screen prompts.
- Camera Detection: The NVR should automatically detect and display video from connected PoE cameras.
- Date and Time: Set the correct date and time, including your time zone.
Operating the System
1. Live View and Recording
Once configured, the NVR will display live video from all connected cameras. Recordings will automatically begin based on default settings (usually continuous or motion-triggered).

2. Remote Access via SANNCE Sight App
The SANNCE Sight app allows you to view live footage, review recordings, and receive alerts from anywhere with an internet connection.
- Download the App: Scan the QR code provided in the Quick Start Guide or search for "SANNCE Sight" on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Register an Account: Create a new user account within the app.
- Add Device: Follow the in-app instructions to add your NVR. This typically involves scanning a QR code on the NVR or manually entering its ID.
- Live View and Playback: Once added, you can access live streams from your cameras and play back recorded footage.

3. Smart Alerts and Motion Detection
The system features intelligent motion detection and can send alerts to your mobile app or email.
- Configuration: Access the NVR's menu (or app settings) to configure motion detection zones, sensitivity, and alert methods (email, app push notifications).
- AI Detection: The system supports AI-based human detection to reduce false alarms.
- Alerts: Receive instant notifications with images when motion is detected, or if a camera is tampered with (video loss).

4. Two-Way Audio
Some SANNCE cameras include a built-in microphone for audio monitoring and a speaker for two-way communication. Check your camera model for this feature.
- Activation: Enable two-way audio through the NVR interface or the SANNCE Sight app.
- Usage: Use the microphone icon in the app to speak through the camera's speaker, and listen to audio from the camera's microphone.

Maintenance
- Regular Cleaning: Periodically clean camera lenses with a soft, damp cloth to ensure clear image quality. Do not use harsh chemicals.
- Firmware Updates: Check the SANNCE website or the NVR's system settings for available firmware updates. Keeping firmware updated ensures optimal performance and security.
- Hard Drive Management: The 2TB hard drive will automatically overwrite older footage when full. Regularly back up important recordings if needed. You can configure recording schedules and overwrite settings in the NVR menu.
- Cable Inspection: Periodically inspect all cables for wear, damage, or loose connections, especially for outdoor cameras.
- Power Supply: Ensure the NVR's power adapter is securely connected and not damaged.
