2. Safety Information

WARNING: DO NOT RUN DRY.

The pump is designed for submersible use only. Operating the pump without being fully submerged in water can cause severe damage to the motor and void the warranty. Always ensure the pump is adequately submerged before connecting to power.

Always disconnect the power supply before performing any maintenance, cleaning, or when the pump is not in use.

Ensure the power cord and plug are in good condition. Do not use if damaged. Avoid moving the pump by pulling the power cord.

This pump is equipped with a built-in automatic thermal overload protector to prevent motor burnout during dry running or overheating. If the pump stops unexpectedly, disconnect power, allow it to cool, and check for obstructions or low water levels before restarting.

6. Operating Instructions

Automatic Mode:

In automatic mode, the pump will turn ON when the water level rises above approximately 19 inches and turn OFF when the water level drops to approximately 8.6 inches or below. To activate automatic mode, ensure the float switch is free to move with the water level.

Manual Mode:

For continuous pumping, or when the water level is too low to activate the float switch automatically, you can engage manual mode. Secure the float switch in an upright position using the buckle design on the pump body. The pump will operate continuously until unplugged. Caution: Monitor the pump closely in manual mode to prevent dry running.
