Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the scale.
- Open the battery cover.
- Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery cover securely.
2. Attaching Hooks
- Attach the desired upper shackle or hook to the top loop of the scale for hanging.

Power On/Off

- With the scale on, press the UNIT button to cycle through the available weighing units: pounds (LB), kilograms (KG), and Newtons (N).
Tare Function
- To weigh items in a container, first hang the empty container on the scale.
- Press the TARE button. The display will reset to "0.0" or "0.00".
- Now, place the items into the container. The display will show the net weight of the items.
Hold Function
- While weighing an item, press the HOLD button to lock the current reading on the display.
- Press the HOLD button again to release the reading and return to live weighing.
Peak Hold Function
The Peak Hold function captures and displays the maximum weight detected during a measurement, useful for non-stationary loads or pull strength tests.
- To activate Peak Hold: With the scale turned off, press and hold the TARE button, then press the ON/OFF button. Release both buttons when "0" appears. The scale is now in Peak Hold mode.
- Apply force or weigh the item. The display will show the maximum weight reached. If the weight is removed, apply a little force to make the peak reading reappear.
- To reset the peak reading, turn the scale off and then on again. The Peak Hold mode will remain active.
- To deactivate Peak Hold: With the scale turned off, press the TARE button, then press the ON/OFF button. This will return the scale to normal weighing mode.
