1. Introduction

The InfiRay P2 Pro Thermal Camera is a compact, high-resolution thermal imager designed for use with iPhone devices. Featuring a 256x192 IR resolution and a wide temperature range of -4℉ to 1112℉ (-20℃ to 600℃), it provides clear thermal vision for various applications. Its ultra-small 9g metal body and 9mm thickness make it the world's smallest thermal imager. Equipped with InfiRay AI-Temp MATRIX IV technology, the P2 Pro offers professional data analysis capabilities and a smooth 25Hz frame rate for accurate temperature readings. The included magnetic macro lens allows for detailed inspection of tiny objects, such as 0.25mm resistors.

4. Setup

4.1. App Installation

Download the "P2 Pro" application from the Apple App Store. Ensure your iPhone is running iOS 11 or above, and iPad is running iPadOS 13 or above for full compatibility.

4.2. Device Connection

Connect the InfiRay P2 Pro directly to your iPhone's Lightning port. For iPhone 15/15 Pro models, an ASIN-B0CR771W34 adapter cable is required to connect to the USB-C port. The included USB-C extension cable can be used for more flexible positioning or when using a phone case.

4.3. Magnetic Macro Lens Attachment

The magnetic macro lens can be easily attached to the P2 Pro camera for close-up inspections. Simply align the lens with the camera's front and it will magnetically snap into place. Remember to remove the lens protector before use.

5.1. Basic Operation

Once connected and the app is launched, the thermal image will appear on your iPhone screen. The app provides various modes and tools for temperature measurement and image analysis.

Use the dedicated photo and video buttons within the app to capture thermal images and record videos. Captured media is saved directly to your phone's album for easy access and sharing.

5.5. Data Analysis and Advanced Features

The P2 Pro app allows for professional data analysis directly on your phone. You can select points, lines, and areas to analyze images in your phone's album without needing to take a new photo. The app also supports image rotation and image fusion functions. Utilize the "Practical DIY Bar" to customize temperature measurement ranges and set environmental parameters for specific applications.
