2. Refresh Rate and Response Time
Your Acer Nitro monitor supports high refresh rates and fast response times for smooth gameplay:
- Curved Model (EDA270U Pbmiipx): Up to 170Hz refresh rate, 1ms Visual Response Boost (VRB).
- IPS Model (XV271U M3bmiiprx): Up to 180Hz refresh rate (DisplayPort), 144Hz (HDMI), 0.5ms GtG response time.
Ensure your graphics card and cables support these specifications to achieve optimal performance. Adjust refresh rate settings in your computer's display settings.

3. AMD FreeSync Premium
This technology synchronizes the monitor's refresh rate with your graphics card's frame rate, eliminating screen tearing and stuttering for a fluid gaming experience. Ensure FreeSync is enabled in both your monitor's OSD menu and your graphics card's control panel.

4. WQHD Resolution and Curved Display Benefits
The 2560 x 1440 WQHD resolution provides crisp, detailed visuals. The 1500R curved display (on applicable model) enhances immersion by wrapping the image around your field of view, reducing eye strain during extended use. This combination is ideal for both gaming and multitasking, allowing for multiple windows to be viewed comfortably.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, use a screen-cleaning solution applied to the cloth, not directly to the screen.
- Care: Avoid placing heavy objects on the monitor or its cables. Do not expose the monitor to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
- No Display: Ensure all power and video cables are securely connected. Check if the correct input source is selected in the OSD menu.
- Flickering/Stuttering: Verify that AMD FreeSync Premium is enabled. Check your graphics card drivers and update if necessary. Ensure the video cable is not damaged.
- Color Issues: Reset display settings to factory defaults via the OSD menu. Adjust color settings as needed.
- No Sound: Check monitor volume settings and ensure external speakers/headphones are properly connected if not using built-in speakers. Verify audio output settings on your computer/console.
