2. Setup

2.1 What's in the Box

Before beginning installation, please verify that all components are present:

2.2 Physical Installation

The FOSCAM SD4H camera is designed for outdoor wall mounting. Select a suitable location that provides the desired viewing angle and is within reach of a power source. Ensure the mounting surface is sturdy enough to support the camera's weight (approximately 5.24 pounds).

1. Identify the desired mounting location.

2.3 Network Connection

The camera supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi 6 for flexible and fast data transfer. An Ethernet port is also available for a wired connection, providing reliable 24/7 monitoring even during signal drops.

• Wireless Connection: Power on the camera. Download the Foscam app (available for Desktop and Smartphone). Follow the in-app instructions for QR code or sound wave pairing.
• Wired Connection: Connect an Ethernet cable from your router to the camera's Ethernet port. Ensure the waterproof connector is properly sealed.
