3. Setup and Installation
The Gefolly SL-9800W Solar Street Light comes with all necessary wall and pole mount accessories for easy outdoor installation without wiring.

3.2 Installation Steps
- Assemble Light Body Bracket: Attach the light body to the bracket as shown in the assembly guide video. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Choose Mounting Location: Select a location that receives ample direct sunlight throughout the day for optimal charging. The recommended installation height is between 10-26 feet.
- Wall Mounting (Optional):
- Mark drilling points on the wall using the wall mount bracket as a template.
- Drill holes and insert anchors.
- Secure the wall mount bracket to the wall using the provided screws.
- Attach the assembled light unit to the wall mount bracket.

- Pole Mounting (Optional):

- Secure the bracket using the provided bolts.
- Attach the assembled light unit to the pole mount bracket.

4. Operating Instructions
The Gefolly SL-9800W Solar Street Light is designed for automatic operation but can also be controlled via the included remote.
4.1 Initial Activation and Automatic Mode
The light will automatically turn on at dusk and charge during the day. To activate the automatic dusk-to-dawn mode:
- Press the "ON" button on the remote control.
- Then, press the "AUTO" button. The light will now operate automatically, turning on when it gets dark and off when it's light.

4.2 Remote Control Functions
The remote control allows for various adjustments:
- ON/OFF: Turns the light on or off.
- Brightness Adjustment: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust brightness from 10% to 100% in 10% increments.
- AUTO Mode: Activates the dusk-to-dawn automatic lighting mode.
- Timing Modes (3H/5H/8H): Press the "ON" button, then select 3H, 5H, or 8H to set the light to stay on for 3, 5, or 8 hours after activation, then turn off.
- Restart: Clears all previous settings and returns to default.

4.3 Power Capacity Indicators
The light unit features four power capacity indicator lights to show the remaining battery power:
- Each light represents 20% of the power.
- When charging during the day, the lights flash to indicate charging and remain on when fully charged.
- At night, if only the red light is on, the power is below 20%. If 4 lights are on and 1 is off, the light has 80% power.
