3. Setup
3.1 Unboxing and Placement
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Place the feeder on a flat, stable surface in an area accessible to your pet and near a power outlet. Ensure the area is dry and away from direct sunlight or heat sources.

- Connect the power adapter to the feeder's power input port.
- Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
- For battery backup, open the battery compartment on the bottom of the feeder and insert 3 D-cell batteries (not included). This ensures continuous operation during power outages.

- Open the twist-lock lid on top of the feeder.
- Pour dry pet food into the 6-liter food tank. Ensure the kibble size is between 3-15mm for optimal dispensing.
- Securely close the twist-lock lid to maintain food freshness and prevent pests.

- Download the PENTHOUSE PAWS app from your smartphone's app store (available on iOS and Android).
- Open the app and create an account or log in.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Scheduling Meals
Use the PENTHOUSE PAWS app to set up your pet's feeding schedule.
- In the app, navigate to the feeder's settings or schedule section.
- Set desired feeding times (up to 15 meals per day).
- Adjust portion sizes according to your pet's dietary needs. Each portion dispenses a measured amount of kibble.
- Save your schedule. The feeder will automatically dispense food at the programmed times.

4.2 Manual Feeding
You can manually dispense food at any time using the app or the manual feed button on the feeder.
- Via App: Open the app, select your feeder, and tap the 'Feed' button. You can choose the number of portions to dispense.
- Via Feeder: Press and hold the manual feed button on the feeder for a few seconds to dispense one portion.
4.3 Two-Way Audio and Voice Recording
Engage with your pet remotely using the built-in microphone and speaker.
- Live Communication: In the app's live view, tap the microphone icon to speak to your pet.
- Recorded Voice Message: Record a 10-second voice message through the app. This message can be set to play automatically before each scheduled meal, making feeding times more familiar for your pet.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Feeder
Regular cleaning ensures hygiene and optimal performance of your feeder.
- Unplug the feeder and remove any remaining food from the tank.
- Disassemble the removable components, such as the food tank, food tray, and lid.
- Wash the food tank and food tray with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly. Note: The main unit containing electronics should NOT be submerged in water.
- Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling.

5.2 Anti-Jam Design
The feeder is equipped with an advanced anti-jam mechanism to prevent food blockages. If you notice any issues with dispensing, ensure the food tank is not overfilled and the kibble size is appropriate.
