Setup
- Power Supply Connection: Connect a DC 12V-24V power supply to the controller's input port. Ensure the power supply matches the voltage requirements of your LED strip. For USB-DC5V, use a compatible USB power source.
- LED Strip Connection: Connect your RGB LED strip to the 4-pin output connector of the controller. Ensure correct polarity (V+, R, G, B) to avoid damage.
- Download App: Download the "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" application from your mobile device's app store (iOS or Android).
- Register/Login: Open the app and register a new account or log in with an existing one.
- Add Device:
- Ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Power on the controller. The LED indicator on the controller should blink rapidly, indicating pairing mode. If not, press and hold the button on the controller for 5-10 seconds until it blinks rapidly.
- In the Tuya Smart/Smart Life app, tap "+" to add a device.
- Select "Lighting" > "Light Source (Wi-Fi)" or search for "LED Controller".
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the controller to your Wi-Fi network. You will need to enter your Wi-Fi password.
- Once connected, the LED indicator on the controller will stop blinking and remain solid.
Operating Instructions
Using the Tuya Smart / Smart Life App
- Power On/Off: Tap the power icon within the app to turn the LED strip on or off.
- Color Selection: Use the color wheel or preset color options to change the LED strip's color.
- Brightness Adjustment: Adjust the brightness slider to increase or decrease the light intensity.
- Scene Modes: Explore various pre-programmed scene modes for different ambiances.
- Scheduling: Set schedules for the LED strip to turn on or off at specific times.
- Voice Control: Integrate with voice assistants like Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant (if configured in the app) for hands-free control.
Manual Control
The integrated button on the controller may offer basic functions such as power on/off or cycling through basic colors/modes. Refer to the app for full control capabilities.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Wipe the controller with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Environment: Ensure the controller is used within its specified working temperature range (-20°C to 60°C) and in a dry environment. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, high humidity, or extreme temperatures.
- Connections: Periodically check all connections (power supply, LED strip) to ensure they are secure.
