1. Product Overview
The Thermaltake Tower 300 is a new edition to The Tower Series, inheriting the classic vertical case design but featuring an octagonal prism shape. It offers exceptional hardware compatibility and cooling solutions for your PC build.
Key features include:
- Octagonal tower chassis supports up to M-ATX motherboard.
- Includes two 140mm CT Fans for efficient cooling.
- Supports up to three 120mm/140mm fans or a 420mm radiator.
- Optional Chassis Stand Kit allows for unique horizontal display (sold separately).
- Additional 3.9" LCD Screen Kit available for purchase to display real-time component information.

2. Setup and Installation
The Tower 300 is designed for easy assembly and component installation. Its modular design allows for convenient access to all areas of the chassis.
2.1 Tool-Free Panel Access
The chassis features three 3mm tempered glass panels on the front and two perforated panels on each side. All panels are easily removable without tools, simplifying the installation process and providing quick access to internal components.

2.2 Component Installation
Install your Micro-ATX motherboard, graphics card (up to 400mm without power cover, 280mm with power cover), and standard PS2 power supply (up to 220mm). The case provides ample space for cable management.
2.3 Optional Chassis Stand Kit
For a unique horizontal display, the optional Chassis Stand Kit (sold separately) can be utilized. This kit includes a bottom cover panel and a display stand. To install, unscrew the original feet, then install the new bottom cover and place the chassis on the stand. It is recommended to position the radiator higher than the AIO pump when using this configuration.

3. Operating and Cooling
The Tower 300 is engineered for optimal thermal performance, ensuring your components stay cool even under heavy loads.
3.1 Pre-installed Fans
The case comes with two 140mm CT fans pre-installed on the top, providing effective exhaust cooling.

3.2 Airflow Configuration
The vertical design promotes excellent airflow. With dedicated intakes and exhausts, the chassis maintains optimal temperatures. You can install additional fans on the right side, rear, and power cover for enhanced cooling.
- Top: 2 x 120mm, 1 x 120mm, 2 x 140mm, 1 x 140mm
- Right Side: 3 x 120mm, 2 x 120mm, 1 x 120mm, 3 x 140mm, 2 x 140mm, 1 x 140mm
- Rear: 2 x 120mm, 1 x 120mm, 2 x 140mm, 1 x 140mm
- Power Cover: 1 x 120mm, 1 x 140mm
3.3 Radiator Support
The Tower 300 supports a wide range of radiators for liquid cooling solutions, including up to a 420mm radiator on the right side.
- Right Side (AIO): 1 x 360mm, 1 x 240mm, 1 x 120mm, 1 x 420mm, 1 x 280mm, 1 x 140mm
4. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Thermaltake Tower 300 case.
4.1 Dust Protection
The Tower 300 is equipped with well-designed filters on the top, rear, inner sides, and inner bottom layer to protect your system from dust accumulation. Periodically remove and clean these filters to maintain optimal airflow and prevent dust buildup inside the chassis.
4.2 General Cleaning
Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the exterior surfaces of the case. For tempered glass panels, a glass cleaner can be used, applied to the cloth first, not directly to the glass. Ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
5. Troubleshooting
This section provides general troubleshooting tips for common issues you might encounter with your PC case. For specific component-related issues, please refer to the respective component manuals.
- No Power: Ensure all power cables (PSU to wall, PSU to motherboard, CPU, GPU) are securely connected. Check the power switch on the PSU.
- Fans Not Spinning: Verify fan cables are correctly connected to the motherboard or fan controller. Check BIOS settings for fan control.
- Overheating: Ensure all fans are functioning correctly and oriented for proper airflow (intake/exhaust). Clean dust filters regularly. Verify CPU cooler and GPU cooler are properly seated.
- Front I/O Ports Not Working: Check internal cables connecting the front I/O panel to the motherboard (USB, audio, power/reset switches).
- Noise Issues: Identify the source of the noise (fans, pump, hard drive). Ensure fans are not obstructed and are securely mounted.
