Care and Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean your watch, wipe it gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the finish or internal components. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in before cleaning to maintain water resistance.
Water Resistance
This watch is rated for 100 feet (3 ATM) water resistance. This means it is suitable for everyday use and can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water. It is not recommended for swimming, diving, or prolonged exposure to water. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in to maintain water resistance.
Battery Replacement
The watch is powered by a long-lasting Japanese Quartz movement battery. When the watch stops or the LED light dims significantly, the battery may need replacement. Due to the specialized nature of watch batteries and to maintain water resistance, it is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician.
Troubleshooting
- Watch Not Keeping Time:
- Check if the crown is fully pushed in.
- The battery may need replacement. Refer to the "Battery Replacement" section.
- LED Microlight Not Working:
- Ensure the button is being pressed firmly.
- The battery for the microlight may be depleted. This often requires professional service.
- Moisture Inside the Watch:
- Immediately take the watch to a professional watch repair service. Do not attempt to open the watch yourself, as this can void the warranty and cause further damage.
