Setup and Installation
Unpacking

- Ensure all components are present: microwave oven, glass turntable, and roller ring.
Placement
- Place the microwave oven on a flat, stable surface capable of supporting its weight (approximately 26.6 lbs).
- Ensure adequate ventilation. Maintain a minimum of 3 inches (7.5 cm) clearance from the rear and sides, and 12 inches (30 cm) above the oven.
- Keep the oven away from heat sources and strong magnetic fields.

Control Panel Overview

- Time Defrost / Weight Defrost: Options for defrosting food.
- Power: Adjust power levels (1-10).
- Clock: Set the current time.
- Kitchen Timer: Use as a standalone timer.
- One-Touch Cook Programs: Popcorn, Potato, Pizza, Frozen Vegetable, Beverage, Dinner Plate.
- Express Cook (1-6): Start cooking immediately for 1 to 6 minutes at 100% power.
- +30 Sec: Add 30 seconds to cooking time or start quick cook.
- STOP/CANCEL: Stop cooking or clear settings.
- START: Begin cooking.
- Memory: Save and recall custom cooking settings.
Setting the Clock
- Press the CLOCK button once.
- Use the number pad to enter the current time (e.g., 12:30 for 12:30 PM).
- Press the CLOCK button again to confirm.
Microwave Cooking
- Place food in a microwave-safe container on the turntable.
- Close the door securely.
- Manual Cooking:
- Press TIME COOK.
- Enter desired cooking time using the number pad.
- Press POWER, then enter a power level (1-10) using the number pad (10 is 100% power).
- Press START.
- Express Cooking:
- Press any number from 1 to 6 for instant cooking at 100% power for that many minutes.
- Alternatively, press +30 SEC to start cooking for 30 seconds at 100% power. Press repeatedly to add 30-second increments.
- One-Touch Cook Programs:
- Press the desired program button (e.g., POPCORN, POTATO). The oven will automatically set the appropriate cooking time and power level.
- Press START.
Defrosting
The microwave offers two defrost options: Time Defrost and Weight Defrost.
- Time Defrost:
- Press TIME DEFROST.
- Enter the desired defrosting time using the number pad.
- Press START.
- Weight Defrost:
- Press WEIGHT DEFROST.
- Enter the food weight in ounces using the number pad.
- Press START.
Child Safety Lock
To prevent unsupervised operation, especially by children, activate the child safety lock.
- To Activate: Press and hold the STOP/CANCEL button for 3 seconds. A lock indicator will appear on the display.
- To Deactivate: Press and hold the STOP/CANCEL button for 3 seconds again. The lock indicator will disappear.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning helps maintain the performance and longevity of your microwave oven.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap. Dry thoroughly.
- Interior: For spills and splatters, wipe the interior with a damp cloth immediately. For stubborn stains, place a bowl of water with lemon slices inside and microwave for 2-3 minutes. The steam will loosen food particles, making them easier to wipe away.
- Turntable and Roller Ring: These can be removed and washed in warm, soapy water or in the dishwasher. Ensure they are completely dry before returning them to the oven.
