Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the main heat press unit on a sturdy, level, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the machine for the swing-away function and ventilation.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the power inlet on the control box and then plug it into a grounded electrical outlet.
  4. Attachment Installation (if applicable):
    • For mug or plate attachments, connect the corresponding attachment cable to the signal port on the main unit. Ensure a secure connection.
    • For the hat press attachment, follow the specific instructions provided with the attachment for mounting it to the main unit.
  5. Pressure Adjustment: Turn the adjustment knob clockwise to increase pressure and counter-clockwise to decrease pressure. Test the pressure by closing the platen without an item; it should require moderate effort to close and open.

Heat Transfer Process (General)

  1. Prepare Item: Place the item (e.g., T-shirt, mug, plate) on the appropriate platen or attachment. Ensure it is flat and free of wrinkles.
  2. Position Design: Place your transfer paper or vinyl design onto the item. Use heat-resistant tape if necessary to secure it.
  3. Preheat: Turn on the machine and set the desired temperature and time according to your transfer material's specifications. Allow the machine to reach the set temperature.
  4. Press:
    • For flat items: Swing the heating platen over the item and lower the lift handle to apply pressure.
    • For mug/plate/hat attachments: Secure the item in the attachment and close the press mechanism.
    The timer will start automatically or can be manually started depending on the model.
  5. Completion: Once the timer reaches zero, an alarm will sound. Lift the handle to release pressure and swing the heating platen away (for flat press). Carefully remove the item.
  6. Cool Down: Allow the item and transfer to cool before peeling (hot peel or cold peel, as per transfer instructions).
