1. Introduction

3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

1. Unscrew the battery cap at the rear of the pinpointer by twisting it counter-clockwise.
2. Insert the provided 9V Lithium Ion battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
3. Screw the battery cap back on clockwise until it is securely tightened to maintain the waterproof seal.

Note: Ensure the battery cap is fully tightened to prevent water ingress, especially when using the device in wet conditions.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button (usually the central button) for a few seconds until the LCD screen illuminates and the device emits a short beep/vibration to indicate it is powered on. To power off, press and hold the power button again until the screen turns off.

4.2 Detection Modes

The pinpointer offers 3 detection modes:

1. Sound and Vibration Mode: Press the mode button once. The device will beep and vibrate upon metal detection.
2. Sound Mode: Press the mode button a second time. The device will only beep upon metal detection.
3. Vibration Mode: Press the mode button a third time. The device will only vibrate upon metal detection.
