4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking and Inspection
Carefully remove all packaging materials. Inspect the appliance for any shipping damage. Report any damage to your retailer immediately. Keep packaging materials away from children.
4.2 Placement
Place the appliance on a firm, level floor. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit. Maintain a minimum distance of 10 cm from walls and other furniture to allow for proper air circulation and heat dissipation. The Zero Clearance design allows the door to open fully at 90 degrees without needing extra side space, making it suitable for placement next to walls or cabinets.

4.3 Leveling
Adjust the leveling feet at the bottom front of the appliance to ensure it is stable and level. A level appliance operates more efficiently and quietly.
4.4 Door Reversal
The door hinge is reversible, allowing you to change the door's opening direction to suit your kitchen layout. Refer to the detailed instructions in the separate installation guide or the full user manual for step-by-step procedures on how to reverse the door.
4.5 Initial Power-On
After placement and leveling, wait at least 2-4 hours before plugging the appliance into a power outlet. This allows the refrigerant to settle. Once plugged in, the appliance will begin to cool. Allow it to run for several hours (e.g., 4-6 hours) empty before loading with food to ensure it reaches the desired temperature.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
- Interior: Clean the interior regularly with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. For stainless steel surfaces, use a specialized stainless steel cleaner.

- Condenser Coils: Periodically clean the condenser coils at the back or bottom of the appliance to maintain efficiency. Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
6.2 NoFrost System
This appliance is equipped with a NoFrost system, which automatically prevents ice buildup in the freezer compartment. This means manual defrosting is not required. The system works by circulating cold air and periodically heating the evaporator to melt any frost, which then drains away. This ensures consistent performance and energy efficiency.

6.3 Power Outage Guidelines
In case of a power outage, keep the appliance door closed to maintain the internal temperature for as long as possible. Food will remain frozen for several hours depending on the ambient temperature and how full the freezer is. Do not open the door unnecessarily.
7. Troubleshooting
Before contacting customer service, please check the following common issues:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Appliance does not operate. | Not plugged in; circuit breaker tripped; power outage. | Check power cord, circuit breaker, and power supply. |
| Temperature is not cold enough. | Door not closed properly; frequent door opening; large amount of warm food added; temperature setting too high; poor ventilation. | Ensure door is sealed; reduce door openings; allow new food to cool before loading; adjust temperature setting; ensure proper clearance around appliance. |
| Excessive noise. | Appliance not level; contact with wall/cabinet; fan obstruction. | Level the appliance; move away from contact points; check for obstructions. Note: The appliance operates at a quiet 41 dB. |
| Door alarm does not sound when door is ajar. | Door switch located on the hinge side, which may not detect a slightly open door if the hinge is reversed without relocating the switch. | If the door hinge has been reversed, ensure the door switch mechanism is also correctly positioned on the active opening side. Consult the detailed door reversal instructions in the full manual for proper switch relocation. |
| Temperature fluctuation during defrost cycle. | During automatic defrost, the internal fan may circulate slightly warmer air. This is normal for NoFrost systems. | This is part of normal operation. The temperature will return to the set point after the defrost cycle completes. Food items should remain adequately preserved. |
