• Battery Safety: Use only the provided batteries and charging cable. Do not overcharge or short-circuit batteries. Keep batteries away from heat and direct sunlight.
• Flight Environment: Fly in open spaces, away from people, animals, buildings, and obstacles. Avoid flying in strong winds or adverse weather conditions.
• Propeller Safety: Keep hands, face, and loose clothing away from rotating propellers. Always ensure propeller guards are installed before flight.
• Emergency Stop: Familiarize yourself with the emergency stop function on the remote control for immediate shutdown if needed.

Setup Guide

1. Charging the Drone Battery

1. Connect the USB charging cable to the drone battery.
2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a USB power adapter (e.g., computer USB port, phone charger).
3. The indicator light on the cable will show charging status (refer to battery instructions for specific light behavior).
4. Charging typically takes approximately 60-90 minutes. Do not overcharge.

2. Installing Drone Battery

1. Ensure the drone is powered off.
2. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the drone.
3. Insert the fully charged battery into the compartment, ensuring it clicks into place securely.
4. Close the battery compartment cover.

3. Installing Remote Control Batteries

1. Open the battery cover on the back of the remote control.
2. Insert 3 x AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment, observing correct polarity (+/-).
3. Close the battery cover securely.

4. App Installation (for FPV and Advanced Features)

1. Scan the QR code provided in the quick start guide or search for the '4DRC' app in your smartphone's app store (App Store for iOS, Google Play Store for Android).
2. Download and install the application.
3. Ensure your smartphone's Wi-Fi is enabled.

Operating Instructions

1. Pairing the Drone and Remote

1. Place the drone on a flat, level surface.
2. Turn on the drone by pressing the power button. The drone's LED lights will flash.
3. Turn on the remote control.
4. Push the left joystick (throttle) all the way up, then pull it all the way down. The drone's LED lights will stop flashing and become solid, indicating successful pairing.

2. Take-off and Landing

• One-Key Take-off: After pairing, press the One-Key Take-off/Landing button. The drone will automatically ascend and hover at a stable altitude.
• Manual Take-off: After pairing, push both joysticks simultaneously to the bottom-outer corners to unlock the motors. Then, slowly push the left joystick (throttle) up to ascend.
• One-Key Landing: During flight, press the One-Key Take-off/Landing button. The drone will automatically descend and land gently.
• Manual Landing: Slowly pull the left joystick (throttle) down to descend. Once landed, push both joysticks simultaneously to the bottom-outer corners to stop the motors.

3. Basic Flight Controls

• Ascend/Descend: Push the left joystick up to ascend, pull down to descend.
• Turn Left/Right (Yaw): Push the left joystick left to turn left, push right to turn right.
• Forward/Backward: Push the right joystick up to fly forward, pull down to fly backward.
• Fly Left/Right (Strafe): Push the right joystick left to fly left, push right to fly right.

4. Special Functions

Altitude Hold

The drone maintains a stable altitude automatically, allowing for easier control and more stable photo/video capture. This feature is active after take-off.

Headless Mode

In Headless Mode, the drone's orientation is relative to the pilot, regardless of the drone's actual front. This simplifies control for beginners. Activate by pressing the Headless Mode button on the remote.

3D Flips

Perform impressive 360° flips. Press the 3D Flip button, then push the right joystick in the desired direction (forward, backward, left, or right) to execute the flip.

Gravity Control

Control the drone's movement by tilting your smartphone. Ensure the app is connected and the gravity control function is enabled within the app.

Trajectory Flight (Waypoints)

Draw a flight path on your smartphone screen within the app, and the drone will automatically follow the designated route.

FPV Real-Time Transmission & Gesture Control

Connect your smartphone to the drone's Wi-Fi network to view live video feed (FPV) and capture photos/videos directly to your device. The drone also supports gesture control for photo and video capture (refer to app instructions for specific gestures).

Speed Modes

The drone offers three speed settings (Low, Middle, High) to accommodate different skill levels and flying environments. Press the speed button on the top right of the controller to cycle through the modes.

Colorful LED Lights

The drone features bright green and blue LEDs on its arms and multi-color LEDs on top, enhancing visibility during flight and providing a visually appealing experience, especially in low light conditions.
