4. Assembly and Setup

Follow these steps to assemble your RB 40V 3-in-1 Cordless Vacuum Blower.

4.1 Assembling the Air Ducts

1. Assemble Suction Duct: Align the clips and slots of the two suction tube sections (labeled 1 and 2) and push them together until they click into place.
2. Assemble Blower Tube: Align the clips and slots of the two blower tube sections (labeled 3 and 4) and push them together until they click into place.
3. Attach Roller: Insert the roller into the designated slots on the blower tube until it is securely fastened.

4.2 Attaching Tubes to Main Unit

1. Open Suction Port Cover: Open the protective cover of the suction port on the main unit.
2. Insert Suction Duct: Align the clip and slot of the assembled suction duct with the suction port on the main unit and insert it until it clicks securely.
3. Secure Suction Duct: Close the protective cover of the suction port and turn the air duct fixing switch to secure the suction duct in place.
4. Insert Blower Tube: Align the clip and slot of the assembled blower tube with the blower outlet on the main unit and insert it until it clicks securely.

4.3 Attaching Collection Bag

1. Align Clips: Align the clips on the collection bag with the corresponding slots on the main unit's vacuum intake.
2. Secure Bag: Push the bag clips into the slots until they are firmly attached.

4.4 Battery Installation

1. Insert Battery: Slide the 40V 4.0Ah Lithium-Ion Battery into the battery slot at the bottom of the main unit until you hear a click, indicating it is locked in place.
2. Check Battery Level: Press the button on the battery to check the remaining power level.

4.5 Attaching Shoulder Strap and Adjusting Handle

1. Install Shoulder Strap: Attach the shoulder strap to the designated attachment points on the unit for comfortable operation.
2. Adjust Handle: Twist the knob on the adjustable handle to set the desired grip angle for ergonomic use.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Starting the Unit

Press the power switch on the handle to start the machine. The unit is now ready for operation.

5.2 Switching Modes (Blower/Vacuum/Mulcher)

The RB 40V 3-in-1 unit features a quick-shift mechanism for seamless transition between modes:

• Blower Mode: Ensure the mode switch is set to "Blowing". This mode is ideal for clearing leaves and debris from lawns, driveways, and patios. The maximum air speed is 52m/s (116 mph) with a maximum volume of 264m³/h.
• Vacuum/Mulcher Mode: Rotate the mode switch to "Vacuum". In this mode, the unit vacuums leaves and debris into the collection bag while simultaneously mulching them. The mulching ratio is 30:1, significantly reducing the volume of collected material. Maximum suction is 45.9m/s (350 CFM).
