1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your VSYSTO Bicycle Rear Camera System F4.5K. This system features a 4.5-inch IPS display, 1080P HD recording with a 140-degree wide-angle lens, infrared night vision, integrated WiFi and GPS, and a multi-function wired controller. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure proper function and safety.

2. What's in the Box

3. Setup and Installation

3.1. Handlebar Bracket Installation for Display Unit

1. Align the bracket with the back of the display unit and insert the screw piece into the screw hole.
2. Tighten with a wrench.
3. Select the appropriate gasket based on your handlebar size.
4. Place the other half of the bracket, insert the screw piece, and tighten the nut with a wrench to secure the display unit to the handlebar.

3.2. Rear Camera Installation

1. Align the camera bracket with the back of the camera and insert it.
2. Insert the metal sheet into the screw, cover the nut, and tighten with a wrench.
3. Unscrew the screws on the bracket.
4. Place the bracket in a suitable position under the seat cushion.
5. Tighten the screws with a wrench.
6. Ensure the installation is complete and secure.

3.3. Connection Diagram

Connect the camera, GPS module, and wired controller to the main host unit as shown in the diagram. Ensure all connections are secure and waterproof plugs are properly seated.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Multi-function Wired Controller

The wired controller provides easy access to key functions without needing to stop. It features four buttons and indicator lights:

• Up Button: Activates/deactivates the microphone.
• Down Button: Enters assisted driving mode; switches between different function interfaces.
• OK Button: Accesses the menu to adjust functions; pauses recording.
• Function Button: Activates emergency recording mode; turns the bicycle rear camera on/off.
• Red/Blue Indicator Light: Displays DVR recording status and GPS positioning status.

4.2. Display Modes and Assisted Driving Mode

The 4.5-inch IPS display provides clear visuals and various informational interfaces. In assisted driving mode (accessed via the Down button on the wired controller), you can view:

• Current vehicle speed, time, calories burned, and cycling distance.
• Altitude, longitude, latitude, and atmospheric pressure.
• Short-term and long-term recorded driving speed and distance.
• Current time and date.

4.3. Recording Features

The camera system is designed to capture clear and reliable footage of your rides.

• 1080P HD & 140° Wide Angle: The 140-degree wide-angle lens captures clear, high-resolution 1080P images, covering multiple lanes and reducing blind spots.
• Infrared Night Vision: Equipped with specialized night vision technologies (starlight night vision, infrared night vision) to ensure clear footage even in low-light conditions.

4.4. Loop Recording and Emergency Recording

• Loop Recording: You can set loop recording durations to 1, 2, 3, or 5 minutes. When the memory card is full, the system automatically overwrites the oldest files to ensure continuous recording.
• Emergency Recording (G-Sensor): The built-in G-sensor automatically triggers emergency recording upon detecting a collision, saving the footage to prevent it from being overwritten.
• Manual Emergency Recording: Press the Function button on the wired controller to manually activate emergency recording.

Note: Emergency files (starting with "KEY" and "GSR") can store up to 10 videos. If more than 10 emergency videos are present, the system will automatically delete the oldest one.

4.5. WiFi Connectivity and GPS Functionality

• WiFi Connection: The integrated WiFi module allows you to transfer videos from the SD card to your phone via the "WiFi Camera" app. This facilitates easy sharing and editing of videos without removing the memory card.
• GPS Functionality: The GPS module provides precise positioning, automatically generating driving speed and track data. This information can be viewed on the mobile app and PC software ("DV Player").

4.6. Overspeed Warning and Shutdown Reminder

• Overspeed Warning: The system will issue an alarm prompt if your driving speed exceeds a preset value, promoting safer riding habits.
• Shutdown Reminder: When the device is turned off, it enters a countdown page displaying mileage and riding time, and reminds you to take your belongings. If no vibration is detected within 5 minutes, it automatically shuts down and enters the countdown page.

4.7. Battery and Charging

The system is powered by a 3000 mAh rechargeable battery, providing up to 3 hours of continuous use. It supports recording while charging and can be charged via USB (power bank or 5V 2A charger).

Caution: If the input voltage exceeds 5V, it may damage the recorder.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the display unit and camera lenses. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Waterproofing: The system features a fully waterproof design (IP65 for main unit, IP67 for camera and other accessories). However, avoid using high-pressure water guns directly on the device, as this may cause damage.
• Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use.
• Memory Card: Regularly format the microSD card to maintain optimal recording performance.
