Setup
Battery Installation
The VTech Cutie Paws Puppy Carrier requires 2 AAA batteries for operation. Batteries included are for demo purposes only; new batteries are recommended for regular use.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the carrier.
- Using a screwdriver, loosen the screw on the battery compartment cover.
- Remove the cover.
- Insert 2 new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover and tighten the screw securely.
Important Battery Information:
- Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
- Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
- Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged.
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix different types of batteries (e.g., alkaline, standard, rechargeable).
- Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
- Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
- Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.
- The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off and Volume Control
Locate the power switch on the side of the carrier. Slide the switch to turn the unit On or Off. The switch also allows you to select between two volume levels for comfortable play.
