- Ensure the iron is unplugged from the power outlet.
- Set the steam control to the 'Dry Ironing' position (no steam).
- Open the water filler cap.
- Using the provided beaker, carefully pour water into the water tank up to the 'MAX' level indicator. Do not overfill.
- Close the water filler cap securely.
Note: Use tap water. If your tap water is very hard, it is advisable to use a mixture of 50% tap water and 50% distilled water. Do not use perfumed water, water from tumble dryers, or chemically descaled water, as these can damage the iron.

4. Operating Instructions
Temperature Control and Fabric Settings:
- Check the garment's care label for ironing instructions.
- Plug the iron into a suitable power outlet.
- Rotate the temperature dial to select the appropriate fabric setting (e.g., Linen, Cotton, Wool, Silk, Satin, Nylon). The indicator light will illuminate.
- Wait for the indicator light to turn off, indicating the iron has reached the selected temperature.

Dry Ironing:
- Ensure the water tank is empty or the steam control is set to 'Dry Ironing'.
- Select the desired temperature setting and wait for the iron to heat up.
- Proceed with ironing as usual.
Steam Ironing:
- Fill the water tank as described in the 'Setup' section.
- Set the temperature dial to a steam-suitable setting (typically Cotton, Linen, or higher). Steam will not be generated at lower temperatures.
- Once the iron reaches the set temperature (indicator light off), adjust the steam control to the desired steam level.
- For an extra burst of steam, press the 'Steam Burst' button. This is useful for stubborn wrinkles.
- For vertical steaming of hanging garments or curtains, hold the iron vertically a few inches from the fabric and press the 'Steam Burst' button repeatedly.

Anti-Drip Function:
The anti-drip system prevents water from dripping from the soleplate when the iron's temperature is too low for steam production. This helps avoid water stains on delicate fabrics.
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
After Each Use:
- Unplug the iron and allow it to cool completely.
- Empty any remaining water from the tank.
- Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth to remove any residue.
- Clean the exterior of the iron with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
Self-Clean Function:
The self-clean function helps remove mineral deposits and impurities from the steam chamber. Perform this function monthly or as needed, especially in areas with hard water.
- Fill the water tank to the 'MAX' level.
- Plug in the iron and set the temperature dial to the maximum setting.
- Once the iron reaches maximum temperature (indicator light off), unplug it.
- Hold the iron horizontally over a sink.
- Press and hold the 'Self-Clean' button. Hot water and steam will be expelled from the soleplate, carrying impurities.
- Gently shake the iron back and forth until the water tank is empty.
- Release the 'Self-Clean' button and allow the iron to cool.
- Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth.

Storage:
Store the cooled iron upright on its heel rest in a dry, safe place. Do not wrap the cord tightly around the iron; use the cord clip if provided.
