1. Safety Information

Please read and understand all safety instructions before assembling or operating the IRONMAX Garden Cart with Seat. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or damage to the product.

  • Weight Capacity: Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 330 pounds (150 kg) on the seat or the cart.
  • Stable Surface: Always use the garden cart on level and stable ground. Avoid steep inclines, declines, or extremely uneven terrain to prevent tipping.
  • Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the garden cart during assembly and operation. This product is not a toy.
  • Assembly: Ensure all bolts, nuts, and fasteners are securely tightened before use. Periodically check for loose connections.
  • Moving Parts: Be aware of moving parts, especially the wheels and steering mechanism, to avoid pinching or injury.
  • Storage: Store the cart in a dry, protected area when not in use to prevent rust and prolong its lifespan.
  • Handle Use: Use the extendable handle for pulling or pushing the cart. Do not use it for lifting the entire cart with a person seated on it.

3. Setup & Assembly

Assembly is required for this product. Please follow these general steps. Refer to the included diagram for specific part identification.

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, flat surface.
  2. Attach Wheels: Secure the four pneumatic wheels to the main frame using the provided axles, washers, and cotter pins. Ensure wheels spin freely.
  3. Install Seat: Mount the seat assembly onto the main frame. Ensure the height adjustment mechanism is correctly aligned and secured.
  4. Attach Handle: Connect the adjustable steering handle to the front of the cart frame. Verify that the handle can pivot and extend smoothly.
  5. Mount Storage: Attach the under-seat tool tray and the rear hanging basket to their designated locations on the frame. Secure the detachable back storage bag to the seat back.
  6. Final Check: Double-check all connections to ensure they are tight and secure before first use.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Seat Adjustment

  • Height Adjustment: The seat height can be adjusted between 18.5 inches and 22 inches. To adjust, loosen the locking mechanism beneath the seat, set to the desired height, and re-tighten securely.
  • 360° Swivel: The seat is designed to swivel 360 degrees, allowing for easy rotation while seated. Ensure the area around the cart is clear before swiveling.
  • Removable Cushion: The seat cushion is removable for cleaning or replacement.

4.2. Handle Operation

  • Extendable Handle: The handle can be extended from 22.5 inches to 32 inches. To extend, pull the handle upwards until it locks into place at the desired length. To retract, press the release button (if applicable) and push down.
  • Steering: The handle allows for steering the front wheels, providing maneuverability across your garden or yard.

4.3. Storage Features

  • Under-Seat Tray: Utilize the tray located beneath the seat for convenient storage of small tools, gloves, or other gardening essentials.
  • Rear Hanging Basket: The wire basket at the rear of the cart provides additional space for larger tools or harvested items.
  • Detachable Back Storage Bag: The fabric bag attached to the seat back offers extra storage for various items and can be removed for cleaning or when not needed.

4.4. Movement and Terrain

The 10-inch pneumatic rubber wheels are designed for smooth movement over various surfaces, including grass, concrete, and gravel roads. Always maintain control of the cart, especially on uneven ground.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your IRONMAX Garden Cart.

  • Cleaning: Wipe down the metal frame with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. The removable cushion and back storage bag can be cleaned according to their fabric care instructions.
  • Rust Prevention: The heavy-duty steel frame features a high-quality powder coating for rust resistance. However, avoid prolonged exposure to moisture and store the cart in a dry place.
  • Tire Care: Periodically check the air pressure in the pneumatic tires. Maintain appropriate pressure as indicated on the tire sidewall for best performance and to prevent damage. Inspect tires for wear and tear.
  • Fastener Check: Regularly inspect all bolts, nuts, and pins to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten any loose fasteners to maintain structural integrity.
  • Lubrication: Apply a small amount of lubricant to moving parts, such as the steering mechanism and wheel axles, if they become stiff.

6. Troubleshooting
